Soap Lake Resort RV Park Introduce
For RV travelers seeking a truly distinctive and affordable experience in Central Washington, **Soap Lake Resort RV Park** offers a unique blend of natural wonder and practical convenience. Located directly on the shores of the famed **Soap Lake**, this city-managed park capitalizes on its primary feature: the lake itself. Soap Lake is renowned globally for its **high concentration of minerals**, which many believe possess **healing properties**, earning it the nickname "Nature's Spa." Guests are drawn to the opportunity to wade in the warm, shallow waters, experience the mineral-rich mud, and generally rejuvenate mind and body.
The **RV Park** is integrated into the larger Soap Lake Resort complex, providing essential camping services with the added bonus of **great views** and immediate water access. The park offers **full hookups** on many of its spaces and is known for its relatively quiet atmosphere. The stunning lakeside vistas, particularly at sunset, provide a picturesque backdrop for an evening of relaxation after a day of exploration. For added convenience, local amenities like a **coffee stand** are literally just across the street, making morning routines simple and enjoyable.
However, prospective visitors should be aware that the park is described as a **simple, basic facility**. While some guests praise the clean spaces and full hookups, others have reported significant issues, including **poor maintenance** of restrooms (soiled clothing, dirty facilities) and challenges with **customer service,** particularly regarding strict, non-refundable cancellation policies. For those prioritizing a resort-level experience with high-end facilities and flexible booking, this may not be the ideal choice. However, for the laid-back traveler focused on securing an affordable, full-hookup site with **direct access to the unique Soap Lake waters**, the core value proposition remains strong.

Soap Lake Resort RV Park Reviews
- Absolutely loved our little spot! The park is clean and the spaces are great with full hook ups and great views. There’s a coffee stand right across the street I went to on the morning walks I took and the town was pretty quiet. July 10 · Joan Hamlin
- This place is HORRIBLE boyfriend and I travel for work and live out of a travel trailer, his schedule had a mix up and he booked 2 extra weeks, which cost him $500 dollars, and his work decided he was needed elsewhere. When he called to see if he could cancel the extension, the lady working the desk for this rv park was rude and said, " you can leave whenever you want, but we won't refund your money" so beware of this spot. Make sure your plans are set in stone because if not, this spot is so money starved they lack basic human compassion. Also, the bathrooms are never cleaned and there is soiled underwear and dirty towels all over the place. There is also people's shampoo and toiletries left strewn all over the place..we've not seen one ounce of effort put into this place since we've been here, and we've been here almost a month now.Absolutely no maintenance anywhere. BEWARE October 19 · Miss Grizzly Green
- Clean, level gravel pads with full hookup. September 19 · David London
- Where else can you park 10 feet from a world famous mineral lake, famous for healing? Convenient location. No pull thrus. March 20 · Raymond Gravelle
- Home away from home August 09 · James Kungu
