Silver Sands, RV & Camp Resort Reviews
A man that lives there I used to take care of never had a problem with Juanita. She was always helpful. She’s strict but she’s just looking out for the best of all those who are living there although she did rent to my son. Well, my son screwed that up. It wasn’t her fault and I don’t blame her for having him evicted from there. She has to do what she has to do if you’re not right get out Other than that she’s a real cool person hard worker.
Feb 17, 2025 · Sandra PaizDO NOT STAY HERE.Before this place I never had one trce of bugs or cockroaches. When I ended up leaving here after a couple months, I was INFESTED with roachesIt was the worst fight of my life!!!It took me almost 5 months to rid my trailer of them. The sewer at this park was broken and they were living in the sewer lines and eating the poop and probably coming into my trailer and making me sickIt was awful!!!I will NEVER stay somewhere where I do not investigate the bug situation again.Don't chance it.
Jun 24, 2024 · Flat TruthBeen here at Silver Sands a couple of months now. Manager Juanita is such a hard worker always cleaning outside and so so nice. Just keep your area clean safe follow the rules and I’m sure you won’t have a problem. The sea is on the right side of me and the mountains on the left side of me. It’s lovely you learn to appreciate nature more. Everyone keeps to themselves and very friendly. There are school buses for school age children. Though you do need a reliable car to get to any stores or out of town errands.
Sep 09, 2024 · Rosy RamrzWorst RV park in California possibly the entire nation. No services period. No USPS Mail. No showers, no bathrooms and a big swimming pool you will only get to look at in 120 degree weather. No laundry. And the owner/operator/manager is a mentally lose cannon in need of care. Beware of the cat size rats that will destroy anything you bring into this dump.
May 23, 2024 · KarlI loved it when I first moved there. I did not anticipate the toll it would take on an older vehicle being 30 minutes from the nearest grocery store. Salton City has a Dollar General and family dollar....but no one can live out here without dependable transportation. There is a reason it is the cheapest place to rent.... First I never received a copy of my "owner" agreement. I was "told" I would get one but never did. We were relocated to 3 different trailers before finding the one to be ours. When we first moved in we noticed water leaking underneath. I told Juanita the manager and she said that she would be there at 6 to look at it. I was moving from Desert Hot Springs to Next to Red Earth Casino, an hour drive without any incidents. The 6 pm time Juanita told me to be there put me leaving right at rush hour. Needless to say I did not make it in time. My belongings were thrown all throughout the place and I thought my ex had done it. I discovered later that he had not. The toilet that has been there was replaced with a less qualified one. I was told that is where the leak was. The clogged toilet. Two months later it was still leaking and I informed her assistant, he said he would tell her and I waited for another e weeks, almost Thanksgiving now and the water is now coming up from the floor I knew nothing about RV's and was taken advantage of. It was the water heater leaking and had destroyed the floor from the other end of the trailer. Once discovered within a week we had a violent rainstorm, the first since we moved there, and now the roof is falling in. This has been the worst experience of my life. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE! I LOST MY HOME, MY CAR, EVERYTHING I OWNED, AND MY RELATIONSHIP. While we're were trying to move out in 115 degrees outside...our power and water was shut off. So now I am homeless and alone somewhere in the desert waiting to die. Living on social security I cannot afford anywhere else to live. DO NOT MOVE HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!
