Silent Creek Introduce
Welcome to **Silent Creek Mobile Home Park**, an established and unique manufactured home community situated in the suburban landscape of Fairview, Oregon. For local Oregon residents seeking an entry point into homeownership within the dynamic and often high-cost Portland Metropolitan area, Silent Creek presents a valuable and more accessible residential option. The park is characterized by its distinctive layout and its position near the borders of Gresham and Troutdale, offering convenience to the region's major arteries and amenities.
As a professional content writer specializing in local business SEO, this article provides a factual and informative overview of Silent Creek. It is important to note that the park is currently undergoing a transition under new ownership, which has led to mixed reviews from long-term residents. We will detail the unique design and strong location, while also discussing the recent changes to management practices, such as rent increases and a shift to off-site management, to provide a fully transparent picture for prospective residents.
Silent Creek Mobile Home Park is an all-ages community comprising numerous manufactured homes, often featuring two and three-bedroom floor plans that are perfect for singles, couples, or growing families. Unlike many older, grid-style mobile home parks, Silent Creek is architecturally notable for its unique design. According to one long-term resident, the roads feature **Curves and different elevations**, which prevents the community from feeling like typical "stacked and rows and straight columns." This layout offers a more custom, spacious, and neighborhood-like aesthetic than is typical of manufactured housing communities.
Homes within the park vary in age, with many built in the 1990s or later, and some units recently coming on the market featuring modern amenities like **Heat Pumps with Air Conditioning**, newer appliances, and updated finishes. Homes typically include features such as a **Carport** for protected parking, a small **Yard** area, and sometimes even a **Free Standing Hot Tub**, demonstrating the quality of many of the homes here. The community benefits from friendly neighbors, according to one reviewer, fostering a generally amicable environment. However, prospective buyers must note the recent challenges, including significant **rent increases** (reported as three times in the last year) and the removal of **on-site management**, which has affected the consistency of services like parking enforcement for community cleaning.
The address for Silent Creek is **2600 NE 205th Ave #21, Fairview, OR 97024, USA**. This specific location places the park ideally within the eastern reaches of the Portland Metro Area, providing a prime balance between suburban tranquility and urban access.

- **Utility Provision:** Homes are connected to **Public Water** and **Public Sewer** systems.
- **Home Comforts:** Many homes include modern essential utilities such as **Heat Pump with Air Conditioning** and electricity-fueled hot water systems.
- **Grounds Maintenance:** The new management provides general grounds maintenance, including a **street sweeper** service, although effective communication regarding vehicle movement for cleaning has been an area of dissatisfaction for current residents.
- **Parking:** Each site typically features a private **Carport** for parking.
- **All-Ages Community:** The park is not age-restricted, making it suitable for all generations, from young families to retirees.

For an Oregon resident prioritizing **unique community aesthetics and affordable access to the Portland Metro Area**, Silent Creek Mobile Home Park remains a compelling option.
The community's curved-road layout provides a genuine residential feel that is rare in the manufactured home market, and the quality of the homes, many of which feature modern amenities like central air/heat pumps, is a strong selling point. It offers the financial advantage of manufactured home living—lower property acquisition costs—while providing direct access to the job centers, shopping, and natural beauty (Blue Lake, Columbia River Gorge) of the Fairview/Gresham area.
However, the decision must be weighed against the recent, negative changes regarding rent increases and management communication. Prospective residents should inquire directly about the current rent structure and management protocols before committing. For those prepared to accept the operational changes but value a higher-quality home design and superior location, Silent Creek offers an attractive pathway to homeownership in Multnomah County, serving as a quiet and well-located alternative to the high costs of traditional Oregon real estate.

Silent Creek Reviews
I would give this 5 stars, but since the new owners bought it, it hasn’t been good.Bad - they have raised the rent here 3 times in the last year. They don’t do anything for us besides have a street sweeper come through to clean up. But doesn’t give anyone notice to move vehicles off the road (like the last owners did). They don’t have an on site manager anymore.Good - the neighbors are friendly. Haven’t had any issues.
November 18 · Julia ThombsIt's different than a typical mobile home they're not just stacked and Rose and straight Collins but rather have Curves in the roads and at different elevations so it doesn't feel so much like a trailer park
August 08 · Wayne LawI don't live here so I can't really rate it
September 17 · John MitchellGreat family park!
October 02 · Molly MeslerNice quiet place
