Shipp's Port RV Park is conveniently located at 170 Bucks Corner Rd, Peletier, NC 28584, USA. This address places it within the charming community of Peletier, a small town in Carteret County that serves as a gateway to North Carolina's renowned Crystal Coast. The accessibility of the park is a key advantage, with Bucks Corner Road providing straightforward access to major local arteries, facilitating easy commutes and exploration of the surrounding area.
One of the most significant draws of Shipp's Port RV Park's location is its exceptional proximity to Emerald Isle, a jewel of the Crystal Coast. Shipp's Port RV Park operates as a long-term RV community, with specific requirements and policies designed to maintain a consistent environment for its residents. These services and policies are geared towards facilitating extended stays rather than short-term transient visits.
- One-Year Lease Requirement: The park requires a minimum one-year lease for all residents, indicating a focus on stable, long-term occupancy.
- Lot Rentals for RVs: Provision of dedicated spaces for RVs, presumably with necessary hookups for water, sewer, and electricity (specific details on utility inclusion in rent would require direct inquiry).
- Underpinning and Skirting Requirement: Residents are required to have their campers underpinned and skirted, which contributes to a uniform aesthetic and potentially better insulation for long-term placement.
- Management Oversight: The park has management in place to handle operations and enforce community policies.
- Newest RV Park on the Crystal Coast: As stated by the Crystal Coast Chamber of Commerce, Shipp's Port is one of the newer developments in the area, potentially offering modern infrastructure.
- Proximity to Emerald Isle: Located less than 3 miles from Emerald Isle, providing excellent access to beaches, fishing, and coastal recreation.
- Focus on Long-Term Residency: The one-year lease requirement signals a commitment to a stable and potentially quiet residential community.
- Structured Environment: The requirement for underpinning and skirting, and other potential "HOA-style" policies (without HOA fees, as one review notes), suggests a community with clear guidelines for appearance and conduct.
- Potential for Community: While specific details are not provided, long-term parks often foster a sense of community among residents.
- Accessibility to Coastal Attractions: Easy reach of the Crystal Coast's natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

Seem like a lot of hoa style management without the hoa fees
Mar 11, 2025 · ricky stanfieldFirst off the ladies offended me with her first question of do I have pets I said I had an indoor cat she wanted her to be declawed I don't think so. She's indoor and if she's outside she's on the leash with me that's the bottom line I also told her that every family out in the United States all of them has at least a pet or two and that's just comes with the territory she does not like animals. She said she's too old to put up with drama she came off like she was a rude person that knows more than you and you can't get a point across. There is a one year lease and you have to have your camper underpinned and skirted which is not a problem but she also wanted me to put a $5,000 patio out front for image reasons. I've done this 7 years full time as a traveler and believe me when it comes to tenant and landlord the landlord can make your life a living hell if they're not a decent fair-minded person and always trying to tell you what to do like you're 10 years old how to walk and talk etc that I am not going to put up with respect is a two-way street but these landlords think that they own you and they can control you any way they feel like and that's just wrong people should be able to pay for their lot and live their peacefully without having to worry about an angry landlord and having to please them or be like in order to stay in their Park
