I had the pleasure and blessing to live at a Golden Cricket management owned property overlooking Moonlight beach the past two years. The only reason I moved was to upgrade my beach (moved to Oahu). Brittany and the entire staff at GC provided an excellent experience. I can't thank them enough. And the view from my apartnment was spectacular, of course.

Golden Cricket, especially Brittany, was the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and inconsiderate person I have ever dealt with on this planet. Beginning from contract signing where she showed up late and in a bath robe, to leaving eviction notices on our door for rent checks that she lost and later found, Golden Cricket has proven itself to be the slumlord matriarch of San Diego. Good luck getting your security deposit back too, because anything over a year lease will need a complete overhaul according to her even if it is cleaner And nicer than when you moved in.

I saw an ad online for a 2 bedroom in Carlsbad Village on Craigslist and Zillow and called the phone number in the ad to schedule an appointment to view. The person on the phone (who I later found out was Brittany) was short and said she'd meet me there- didn't ask name or info or anything. When I arrived at the property, she was there and let me see it. Was very short, didn't really seem like she even wanted anyone to rent the property but I figured- hey oh well, if I like the place who cares.My fiance and I ended up applying for the property and let her know that we were approved for others, so needed to move quickly as we would be making our decision that day. She processed it and let us know we were approved (after submitting all of our personal information and submitting payment for the application fee through Paypal). We told her we wanted to move forward with the deposit, but felt uneasy after searching the company since nothing came up- No Yelp, social media, website, address, etc. There was no information what so ever besides one local review site that had tons of 1 star reviews so I was worried it may be a scam (we never even got her last name and she calls from private). We emailed asking if she would be giving us some sort of documentation or paperwork when we gave the $2,000 Cashiers Check. No response. I called- someone else answered and couldn't answer the question but said they'd have Brittany call me. No answer. Then it was impossible to get ahold of her. I called 3 times in one day to try to coordinate meeting for the deposit and every time someone new would answer the phone and be completely lost but say they'll have her call. Nothing.I believe this company scams people and takes their personal information and then got fearful when I asked questions. I've literally never heard of someone not answering when you're trying to give them a $2,000 check and rent their property. Every encounter I had with "Brittany", she was completely rude and unprofessional- almost as if she was mad you're bothering her.The cherry on top- My fiance called today one more time in an attempt to meet for the deposit since he really liked the property and she started railing him for 5 minutes, raising her voice and saying complete lies. Stay far, far away.
