RV Outdoor Adventures & Cabins Introduce
Tucked away in the peaceful, mountainous terrain just outside of Clatskanie, Oregon, RV Outdoor Adventures & Cabins provides a genuine Pacific Northwest retreat. Operating as a comprehensive destination—including an RV park, Campground, and Cabin rental agency—this property caters to various traveler needs, from short-term RV stays to longer cabin rentals for workers or families seeking an extended getaway. The atmosphere is consistently described as super quiet and deeply relaxing, set against a gorgeous backdrop where the owners treat the place like their home. This personal touch fosters a uniquely welcoming and well-cared-for environment for all guests.
The unique offering of both full-service RV sites and charming cabin rentals makes it an ideal spot for those who want flexibility in their accommodation. Whether you’re traveling through Oregon with your own RV or seeking a cozy, fully equipped lodging option, this location has you covered. The property spans 36 acres of quiet, peaceful park-like setting, offering ample space for exploration, relaxation, and interaction with nature, including the famously friendly campground bunnies and the soothing sounds of the nearby creek. While phone service can be limited—a common trade-off for such a scenic, off-the-beaten-path location—the tranquility and beauty of the property more than compensate for this minor inconvenience, allowing visitors a true chance to unplug.
The dedication of the hosts, like Joanna and her husband mentioned in a customer review, ensures any issues are handled promptly, demonstrating an exemplary commitment to guest comfort. This level of attentive service, combined with the clean, spotless property, is a major draw. However, potential guests should heed the advice of past visitors to pay close attention to booking details for cabins, especially regarding additional guest fees, as third-party booking sites may not clearly reflect all charges. Transparency on the final price is key, especially for longer, non-refundable stays.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Super quiet campground off in the mountains. The owners are friendly and treat the place like their home. The bunnies are everywhere and make good campground companions.
June 07 · wayne gibsonJoanna and her husband were amazing hosts. We stayed in an RV our first week as my husband was doing a job across the river. There were a few issues but they were handled promptly. When our week ended she made sure to accommodate us in one of the adorable cabins. My 8 year old loved the loft. The TV didn't work in the cabins and phone service is horrible but the property itself made up for these minor inconveniences. We loved the campfires and being able to cook a full course meal. It definitely beats having to live off fast food. We enjoyed feeding the bunnies and the sounds of the creek running through the property. The only thing negative to mention is that the website says that the price posted is for 2 adults and 2 kids but we were charged an extra $200 for my 8 year old. So please pay close attention while booking on Airbnb because it is non refundable. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Property was spotless, quiet, gorgeous and relaxing. Even the goats followed the rules because after 10 they didn't make a peep!
July 06 · Angelina QuintanaAbsolutely loved this place! They have bunnies like crazy so drive slow! Host was super friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks for the lovely stay!
February 28 · Shannon KawinWe stayed here in an RV from Aug - Oct 2024 and really enjoyed our stay! The park is away from any main roads so it's nice and quiet. Lots of trees and a small stream that runs through the park. Close to the Clatskanie river as well as the Columbia. 30 minutes or so to Astoria and the Pacific coast, and 20 minutes to Longview, WA. Clatskanie is a nice small town with all the necessities.Camp spots are spacious and spread-out, with full 50 amp hookups on the pull-thru sites and a few of the back-ins. Clean bath-house with three showers in each, but no laundry facilities. Goats, ducks, and lots of rabbits on the property! The rabbits are friendly and roam freely, but leave their mark everywhere. Didn't bother us, but be aware. Joanna is very friendly and accommodating. Prices were very reasonable. If you stay:- Eat at Bundy's for great burgers and sandwiches- Ixtapa for good Mexican food- Great coffee shops! Farmhouse Coffee and Flowers N FluffOverall, we enjoyed the park and would stay again if in the area.
December 12 · Jim WilsonOvernighted at an RV site in order to charge EV. Management had no issues with charging an EV. Pitched a tent, plenty of space, nice soft green grass.Restrooms are up to date and spotless, showers very clean/tidy.Grounds are excellent: nice walking loop to view rabbits, goat feeding pen.All-n-all a pleasant, rural environment to spend time in; I'll be back.
