Rivers Edge RV Park Introduce
For travelers and long-term residents across Nevada, **Rivers Edge RV Park** in Sparks presents a highly sought-after combination of location, convenience, and a unique environment. This facility functions as a dual-purpose community, catering both to **RV camping** guests looking for daily, weekly, or seasonal stays, and to more permanent residents who maintain spaces as a **mobile home park**. Nestled right on the banks of the tranquil Truckee River, the park offers a scenic escape that feels removed from the bustle, yet is strategically placed for easy access to the excitement and amenities of Sparks and neighboring Reno.
The primary appeal of Rivers Edge RV Park is its exceptional setting. The community is enhanced by mature shade trees and well-maintained green lawns, offering a peaceful and lush atmosphere that is distinct from the typical high-desert landscape. This "little oasis" environment, as described by some residents, provides a beautiful backdrop for living or extended travel, complete with stunning views of the nearby mountains. It is a pet-friendly community, welcoming dogs and recognizing that four-legged family members are a crucial part of the living experience.
Potential guests and residents should approach the community with an understanding of the balance between its natural beauty and its operational structure. While the location is consistently praised, some public commentary has indicated challenges regarding on-site management availability, responsiveness, and adherence to posted office hours. Guests rely on clear communication and accessible management, especially for reservations, check-in, and addressing maintenance needs. It is always advised to confirm all details, particularly management availability and facility status, prior to booking any long-term stay. The community aims to be a welcoming and functional home base for the Nevada lifestyle, positioned perfectly to connect to casinos, parks, and major shopping destinations within minutes.
The park accommodates a wide range of needs, whether you are seeking an inexpensive, short-term stopover while passing through Northern Nevada or a place to settle your manufactured home long-term. This blend of temporary and permanent residents contributes to a diverse and active community dynamic.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- The location is great right next to the river I just wish I could say the same about the management. Rachel is very rude and unprofessional, once she recognizes your phone number she will stop answering the business phone so you have to go to the office. The office hours posted are not the hours the office is open, it is open whenever she decides it to be or the maintenance guy will be in there but can’t answer any of your questions. She has sold multiple trailers in the park the business did not have the title to resulting in waiting months to years to be able to get those titles. August 30 · Kiley Anne
- Stay Away. The "on-site" manager is almost never present, and when she is, she is extremely rude and unhelpful. There is no way to contact the owners or otherwise, no information about them to be found. God forbid you have any issue needing to be addressed, because there is noone to do anything for you. They make no effort to make the pool available, so much so that it almost might as well not exist. Any trash in the park is exclusively picked up by residents, maintenance is sparse at best. There is a leak in the laundry that has been there for years and no attempt has been made to fix it. I have never seen a more poorly managed business in my life. April 15 · Sean Carlson
- TERRIBLE Customer Service!!! Lady in office was EXTREMELY rude! Did not answer the phone and the voicemail is full so you can’t even leave a message. When she finally answered she was rude and hung up in my face stating they “close the office at 4:30pm” when clearly it states office hours are 9am-5pm. I had been trying to reach them via phone for 2 weeks straight and this particular day had been calling over and over (due to a full voicemail) since 4:15pm. It’s just sad how rude this lady was. I DO NOT recommend staying here because she called back after me having to call 26 times! Stating she “thought I was one of the residents”. So, if you’re a resident, you won’t even be able to receive any help unless you call AT LEAST 26 times. Just HORRIBLE! ZERO STARS! June 13 · Jada Murphy
- We called multiple times and got a recording requesting a name & number for them to call back - it then said the mailbox was full. May 19 · Lisa good
- I wish I could say I even experienced staying here but with no website, social media, obvious email and lack of customer service I don't see how anyone actually gets into this place. They won't answer my calls, return my 2 voicemails or respond to the text I sent with required photos of our 2022 RV. The first time I called a few weeks ago, a woman answered and gave me the information I needed to decide if we wanted to pursue staying with them. I was instructed to send photos of our rv to the phone number I called, so I did. I have not received a response and tried texting/calling multiple times since to get the information to start the background check but I've got nothing back. Bummed to give up on this one because it seems like a really nice spot but I don't understand how you get in here. May 23 · Alena Fridley
