This article aims to provide a factual and comprehensive overview of Ranger Land RV Park. We will delve into its location and accessibility, discuss the general services and features typically associated with such a park, and openly present insights from publicly available customer reviews. Our goal is to equip Texans with the necessary information to determine if Ranger Land RV Park aligns with their preferences for an RV living experience, ensuring transparency and a balanced perspective on what to expect.
Ranger Land RV Park is a property that has garnered diverse feedback from its residents. While specific details on the park's official mission or philosophy are not readily available, customer reviews highlight a challenging resident experience for some. Concerns raised by individuals include issues with certain tenants reportedly causing disturbances, leading to loud music, visible trash, and frequent police visits. Some reviews also describe difficulties with management responsiveness to these issues, and express dissatisfaction with communication regarding lot changes and eviction notices. Additionally, the park's physical condition has been noted, with mentions of unpaved roads, a significant bump at the entrance, and general cleanliness concerns. It is important for prospective residents to be aware of these reported experiences. Like any community, individual perceptions and actual conditions can vary, but these firsthand accounts offer a critical perspective on the living environment at Ranger Land RV Park.
Ranger Land RV Park is located at 3017 Ranger Hwy, Weatherford, TX 76088, USA. This address places it on Ranger Highway, a significant route that offers a degree of connectivity while potentially providing a setting somewhat removed from the immediate urban bustle of downtown Weatherford. Weatherford, the county seat of Parker County, is a growing city in North Texas, known for its historic charm and a blend of rural and suburban living.
The park's location provides fairly direct access to Weatherford's amenities. Residents can expect to be within a reasonable driving distance of essential services such as grocery stores, local dining options, and retail establishments. Weatherford's downtown area, with its historic square and unique shops, is also accessible. For broader accessibility, Ranger Highway connects to major transportation arteries, including Interstate 20 (I-20). I-20 is a key east-west highway that facilitates travel to larger metropolitan areas like Fort Worth (approximately a 30-40 minute drive) and Dallas. This connectivity provides residents with access to extensive employment opportunities, healthcare facilities, and a wider range of entertainment and cultural attractions in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. While the direct road into the park has been described as unpaved with a significant bump, its overall geographical location offers convenience for those needing access to Weatherford and beyond.
While specific, detailed lists of services are not extensively publicized for Ranger Land RV Park, based on typical RV park operations, the following services are generally provided or expected for residents:
- RV Site Hookups: As an RV park, it is standard for individual sites to be equipped with essential utility hookups, including electricity (likely 30 and/or 50 amp service), water, and sewer connections, necessary for the full functionality of recreational vehicles.
- Dedicated RV Lots: The park provides designated spaces for RVs, offering residents their own plot within the community for their vehicle and potentially some outdoor living space.
- On-site Management: The park has owners/managers, identified in reviews as Sam and Twila. The presence of management is standard for RV parks, responsible for overseeing operations, site assignments, and, ideally, addressing resident concerns.
- Community Rules: All RV parks operate with a set of rules and regulations designed to maintain order and a certain standard of living for residents. These typically cover aspects like noise levels, speed limits, and property maintenance, although adherence and enforcement can vary based on management practices, as suggested by reviews.
Ranger Land RV Park, based on customer feedback, presents a mixed picture regarding its features and highlights. While its fundamental offerings are those of a basic RV park, some aspects have been critically noted by residents:
- Individual RV Sites with Utilities: The park does offer individual sites equipped with necessary utility hookups for RVs, providing the basic infrastructure for a resident's stay.
- Location for Accessibility: Situated on Ranger Highway, the park benefits from its proximity to Weatherford, allowing for relatively easy access to local amenities and major transportation routes like I-20 for broader travel within Texas.
- Potential for Affordability: While specific rates are not detailed in the provided information, some reviews imply that residents are "paying for" or "expecting" certain conditions, which could suggest a pricing structure that is (or was intended to be) competitive, particularly for long-term stays.
- Established Presence: As an existing RV park, it provides an established option for RVers looking for a site in the Weatherford area.
- Challenges in Community Environment: A significant recurring theme in reviews points to issues with specific tenants creating disturbances (loud music, drug/alcohol-related issues, conflicts) and concerns about trash on the property. This indicates a potential challenge in maintaining a consistently peaceful and clean environment for all residents.
- Management Responsiveness Concerns: Reviews raise concerns about the owners' responsiveness to resident complaints regarding disturbances and their approach to resolving conflicts, with some describing interactions as problematic.
- Road Conditions: The unpaved entrance road with a "huge bump" is noted as a physical feature that can impact the resident experience.

Ranger Land RV Park Reviews
The owners honestly do not care about this place at all ! All they care about is the income! They have certain tenants in their park that are drug heads and drunks that constantly start trouble with other tenants, and yet the owners choose to do nothing about it! Even when the cops are called numerous times! They want to raise total hell with there good tenants and give them ultimatums about moving to other lots to get away from the trouble makers but expect you to do it at there demand and we all know that's not how it works! Since the tenants didn't do as they were demanded, the owner serves him a handwritten eviction notice ! These owners are horrible, horrible, and nobody should ever rent from there! The owners' names are Sam and Twila ! If you choose to rent there, you're taking a huge risk on if you're gonna catch Jeckyl or Hyde!
Mar 06, 2024 · RAYMOND MOTLEYOn terms of getting what you pay for this rv park is not it. Trash galore spread across the property. Addicts on every corner, no paved road entering the rv park. There's a huge bump upon entrance they refuse to fix but care when people park on the grass. We already found a MUCH better rv park with very nice people. Complete opposite. And please respond the way you have been when you get a bad review 🤣 can say all you want there's nothing to offer at rangerland. Have a blessed day.
Sep 30, 2024 · Instinct CowboyWas told we could move in . Then with no reason they changed there mind and said they didn't think we would be a good fit. Place honestly don't look that great. They do not allow children, said it's due to being so close to main road. So all said I'm glad we didn't get the spot here after all. Also no large breads.
Apr 01, 2024 · Amber MorrisPlace was ok to begin with. Electrical is not up to par, but worked. Had to put down $100 deposit and was told when moved out to send mailing address for the refund. I did that and now the owner is ignoring my calls/messages. He had no problems with me while I was there and now apparently wants to scam my deposit.
Sep 02, 2019 · Mark E. BaileyTo the Owner "Sam Rabazaar" who claimed on Google me and my family made an excuse to get out of our lease. We gave you 2 months notice and paid both of those months. The insects your referencing are not even insects. They are arachnid animals more specifically SCORPIONS and you didn't have them promptly exterminated or the cabin we were rented sealed so it would prevent entry to my pregnant wife and myself. As our lease stated if there is a risk to injury or health and it is not fixed we could have rightly broken the lease. But we instead gave you 2 months notice mind you we only had to give 1 month. My baby is healthy and well today but his health and ours was put at risks after being stung a multitude of times and poor ownership failed to correct this issue.
