★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stayed here for 3 months in the spring of 2025 and had an excellent stay. Melanie and the crew here have been been very kind, helpful, and fair. The each spot is very well maintained with grass and shrubbery at each spot. The showers, washers, and other facilities are very well equipped. This particular area does have a fair amount of issue with home-less and drug use, we never had issues but just be aware that it is nearby. Just lock your stuff down and be aware that's all it took for us.In conclusion, if you are a travel nurse working at Salem Health this is an EXCELLENT option. There were many other travelers in the park while we were there and we made great friends.
June 26 · Kyle BGreat RV park. Rents month to month. Friendly staff who keep problems to a minimum. Has a nighttime watchman. Kids are allowed. It's in a sketchy area, but when you drive in, it's easy to forget about it. Has trees and grass on each lot. Most dogs allowed, has 3 small dog parks and a tiny kid playground. The fact that it is central to so many things made the stay worth it.
May 29 · Mitch WThis is my second year at Phoenix RV Park. Incidentally, I have to warn you that this is a rave! First, let me start by telling you that last year, my partner and I searched the north Willamette Valley from the Columbia River down to McMinnville. There is no question that, as far as beautiful places to stay Phoenix RV Park tops them all.Location, location, location! This little “enclave” is located in North Salem and has easy access to I-5; yet it is remarkably quiet, given that it is in a city area. It lies at the gateway to the north Willamette Valley with a short journey to Silverton and Mt. Angel. Shopping is close by, and Chemeketa Community College provides an excellent place to hike, cycle, read and attend events. Each site has so much more than just gravel. We have our own trees, and a variety of flowers and shrubs. In early summer Rhodies and roses abound! But another real cool thing about this site is that you can easily conceptualize after a brief tour that someone really used their head - everything is laid out RIGHT.Regular maintenance is an important consideration. And here, Melanie and Rob do a sensational job. Rob is always busy with the daily chores, like garbage, propane fills, etc. You might say he has an excellent work ethic. He’s also always there for advice and assistance when necessary. And this team also responds quickly and effectively to any emergency. For example, last year we had a water main break, and Melanie and crew were right on top of it.Let’s talk about communication. Melanie is the best! She is a consummate Manager. Yet she has a great communication style and can adapt to any type of visitor. For example, I happen to be 71 and have the tendency to forget some of the time. She waits and seamlessly assists when necessary. Look- Melanie could add patience, caring and understanding guests to her resume also.I always feel very secure on the premises. You will too! Melanie and crew are not only vigilant (you will notice regular drive-throughs). They enforce the RV Park’s rules but are never too stringent. They also regularly confer with guests to answer questions and any concerns they may have.Along with all these good things, is the fact that you have your own mailbox! Not every RV park can/ or will provide that. This means that it is easy to drive by and check your mail before you exit the complex. UPS, Amazon and other packages are organized and you can take a moment to pick them up too.So, in the final analysis, what do you want? You want a place to call “home” for a given period of time. Management here does just that. I feel safe; and also warm and fuzzy! So for all these reasons, this guy will be coming back year after year. In other words, I really can’t think of any reason why I would not recommend Phoenix RV park to everyone and give it the highest possible rating.Ralph Johnson, Guest.
June 05 · Ralph JohnsonLocation could be better, but the Rv Park is very clean and Melanie the manager was awesome and understanding for us. There was just a little bit too much noise but other than that, it was great.
June 04 · Elizabeth LugoI stayed at the Phoenix RV Park in Salem Oregon from 5/24/24 to 5/29/24. I originally reserved and paid a deposit for space 28, for 30 days. When I arrived I paid up to 5/31/24. The manager then assigned me space 4. She said she wasn’t part of the original conversation and she refused to honor my reservation. I accepted space 4. Once I was set up I realized space 4 was in front of the neighboring trash dumpster and the loading dock for the Safeway store. The traffic noise of the trucks and other vehicles was intolerable. The next day, I saw a man between the fence and the dumpsters who looked like he was consuming illegal drugs. About an hour later there were three male transient people congregating at the dumpster eating and smoking. This was literally less than 8-10’ from our back window. The RV office was closed due to Memorial Day weekend so I could not address the matter with management. On 05/27/24, I met with the same manager and told her about the intolerable conditions and asked to change to a more quiet site. On that day I counted 14 vacant sites including #28. The manager told me all the sites were reserved and she could not relocate us. I found this questionable, because she didn’t even look at the computer records. I told her that if she couldn’t do anything then I move to a different RV facility. She said “I understand and that’s fine.” On the morning of 5/29/24, met the same manager again and asked her for a refund for the 29, 30 and 31. She said she would “have to ask corporate about that.” She then said I wouldn’t have to pay for June, but she then said I wouldn’t get the last three days back. I then reminded her that she just told me she would ask corporate send me a refund. Frankly I don’t believe she was being forthright with me about the reservation and the refund. Due to the intolerable noise and transient activity along the west side of this property I would not recommend any of these sites. If I would have been given the site I originally reserved, then this might be a more favorable review, because the rest of the park is well kept and clean.
