This includes an incident of theft occurring in broad daylight, specifically a lawnmower stolen from under a patio between 4 PM and 9 PM. The resident also noted a lack of adequate lighting in the park at night, which they believe contributes to a higher risk of theft. This is an important aspect for potential residents to consider and discuss with management.

Conclusion: Why This Place is Suitable for Locals
For us Floridians, especially those of us in the bustling Jacksonville area, finding a home that balances affordability with a sense of community is often a top priority. Ortega Village Manufactured Home Community offers a potential solution for those seeking manufactured home living. The community's staff are highlighted for their willingness to work with prospective residents, demonstrating a caring and understanding approach to facilitating the home-buying process. This level of support, particularly for those needing to find a place quickly, can be a significant advantage in the competitive Florida housing market. The initial quiet atmosphere noted by residents suggests that, at times, it can provide the peaceful environment many of us seek after a long day.
However, like any community, it's important to be fully informed. While the supportive staff and quick home placement are definite positives, recent concerns about security, particularly regarding daytime theft and the perceived lack of adequate nighttime lighting, are critical considerations. For us locals, understanding these aspects and perhaps discussing them directly with management before making a decision is key to ensuring a comfortable and safe living experience. It's about weighing the benefits of a helpful team and a convenient location against the need for personal security and peace of mind. For those prepared to engage with the community and its management regarding these concerns, Ortega Village Manufactured Home Community could indeed be a suitable and accessible option for finding a home in Jacksonville.

Apr 09, 2025 · Kesheia KempI purchased my home in 2024...neighborhood seemed quiet...already had several issues and none that anyone can do anything about it. I just had my lawnmower stolen from under my patio. It literally was under my patio for 1 week. They pulled out my trash can and literally cut the cord and took my property. This was done between the hrs of 4pm and 9pm...yes broad daylight!!!! I mentioned this to the lawn guy and he tells me to check on my street because that's where they steal lot...thats very comforting to know.Night time...there are no lights in the park and this makes it easier for thieves.I am beyond pissed!!! I work hard for my things for some ingrate to come and steal my things!
