Mizpah Trailer Park Introduce
Finding an established, quiet, and well-located community in the picturesque Kern River Valley of California is a priority for many local residents seeking long-term or permanent housing. Mizpah Trailer Park, situated in Lake Isabella, CA, is a long-standing mobile home park offering a highly convenient base for exploring one of Southern California's premier outdoor recreation areas. The park is characterized by its small size, with approximately 16 mobile home spaces, which often contributes to a more intimate and manageable community atmosphere. Positioned perfectly for those who value both peace and accessibility, this community provides a practical housing solution within the stunning natural landscape of the southern Sierra Nevada mountains.
Prospective residents often seek a blend of tranquility and effective management. Some current and past residents describe Mizpah Trailer Park as a very quiet park that is very well maintained, with one reviewer praising the manager for being friendly and doing a great job by ensuring things are done correctly and efficiently. This suggests a resident experience that, for many, is positive, peaceful, and supported by attentive staff who prioritize the upkeep of the grounds. However, it is essential for anyone considering a move to note the significant disparity in public feedback regarding management practices. Other, highly detailed reviews describe serious and concerning allegations of unprofessional conduct, harassment, and mismanagement, emphasizing the need for potential tenants to thoroughly investigate the current operational environment and management stability before committing to residency.
The location of Mizpah Trailer Park is one of its most compelling attributes for California residents who love the outdoors. The park is strategically situated at 6540 Lake Isabella Blvd, Lake Isabella, CA 93240, USA, placing it directly in the heart of the community and offering remarkable accessibility. Its proximity to essential services and recreational highlights is a major draw. For instance, the community is within walking distance of local shopping centers, dining establishments, and even the local post office, making daily errands exceptionally easy without needing to rely on a car. Crucially, the park is mere moments away from the expansive Lake Isabella, one of the largest reservoirs in Southern California. The lake and the nearby Kern River offer endless recreational opportunities, including boating, fishing (known for trout, bass, and catfish), kayaking, windsurfing, and whitewater rafting. Additionally, the surrounding Sequoia National Forest provides vast networks of hiking and biking trails, hot springs, and opportunities for off-roading, rock climbing, and bird watching. Local attractions like the historic Silver City Ghost Town and the Kern Valley Museum are also just a short drive away, offering cultural and historical experiences that enrich the local California lifestyle. The park’s location truly enables a lifestyle where adventure and convenience coexist seamlessly.
While specific, officially advertised amenities for Mizpah Trailer Park are limited in public park registries (listing primarily the number of spaces), the nature of the location and typical mobile home park offerings, alongside general area information, suggests a focus on providing core living infrastructure and capitalizes on the surrounding area’s features. Based on the type of establishment and its setting, services generally offered in such parks, and often cited in reviews for similar nearby facilities, would likely include:
- Long-Term Mobile Home Spaces: Providing essential sites with hookups for electricity, water, and sewer for privately owned manufactured homes. Official listings indicate 16 such spaces.
- Full Hookups: Essential utility connections for water, sewer, and electric (likely 30/50 amp) to support modern mobile home and long-term RV living.
- On-Site Management: A dedicated manager who handles day-to-day operations, maintenance, and resident concerns, as noted in customer feedback.
- Grounds Maintenance: Regular upkeep of common areas, which one reviewer specifically highlighted as being very well maintained.
- Trash Disposal Services: Essential utility provision for waste removal.
- Access to Local Infrastructure: The park's prime location ensures immediate access to the municipal post office and local shopping areas via walking.
The highlights of choosing Mizpah Trailer Park are rooted deeply in its geographical location and the potential for a quiet community setting. The primary advantage is the unbeatable proximity to outdoor recreation. Being in the Kern River Valley means that residents can enjoy a nature-rich lifestyle focused on the lake, the river, and the surrounding National Forest, all while being close to town amenities. Furthermore, one of the park’s main features, as mentioned in positive feedback, is its tranquil atmosphere—described as a very quiet park—which is a huge benefit for those seeking peace and a retreat from the noise of larger Californian cities. Another highlight is the convenience of the location; with the town of Lake Isabella's shopping and post office within walking distance, it significantly enhances the daily quality of life for long-term residents. The park offers an opportunity for affordable housing relative to much of California, providing a lower-cost entry point into homeownership within an area known for its scenic beauty and recreational access.

What is worth choosing Mizpah Trailer Park for, ultimately, is its potential to offer a quiet, affordable, and incredibly convenient long-term residence right in the heart of the Kern River Valley, California. The park’s chief selling point is its physical location, which is a true asset for Californians who desire a low-maintenance home base for an active, nature-centric lifestyle. You are choosing a community that puts the vast recreational playground of Lake Isabella and the Sequoia National Forest virtually on your doorstep, while also providing the immense convenience of being a short walk from town essentials. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This park is very well maintained. The manager is very freindly. She really does a great job, and goes out of her way to ensure things are done correctly and efficiently. This is a very quiet park and its location is ideal, having the lake, shopping, hiking, and even a post office all within walking distance.
August 24 · Michael T. LubarThe manager Kim makes front of people with disabilities and calls them names. She harassed tenants, has been caught several times by tenants secretly going in yards and spying and recording tenants while they are inside, several tenants have called the cops on her over it, if she don’t like you or if you hang out with a tenant that she doesn’t like she will lie and make serious accusations on you to the owners and to the cops to try and get you kicked out, if a tenant passed away she goes in and take’s everything she can and either keeps it or sells it and keep the money, she does drugs and buys and sells to some of the tenants, she has at least 40 plus cats that pee and poop everywhere and makes the park smell horrible and doesn’t clean up. It is so unhealthy for anyone to have to smell there. She won’t fix anything when tenants are having problems with their trailers, she goes through peoples stuff when a tenant is gone. She walks around in a bra daily smoking pot and will go in tenants trailers with a joint. She is Very UNPROFESSIONAL. They need new management. The person who is responding is NOT the owner but the manager herself !!. It is not deflamation of character if it is true!! There are several tenets that you are doing this too, and is wrong.
August 12 · Desiree CaryQuiet except almost everybody's dogs cry the whole time when owners leave them behind. And the very annoying car alarm somewhere in the surrounding neighborhood that never shuts off except for the day time.Ok lets talk about the manager on site...my whole renting life i have only had one landlord i liked. This one at Mizpah.....my second. She was very welcoming when i first arrived, told me all the rules and my responsibilities. And made sure i was all set up and doing ok. I also want to say i have made a new friend. We even made ice cream together. Unfortunately i have to go and she will be missed. So whatever people say about her is totally wrong. Skunk smells it own hole first. She is very prompt and goes out of her way to help. Thanks Mngmt. K.
