Mariner's Cove Park - Home Owners Association

20700 Basin Dr, Estero, FL 33928, USA

4.0
Mariner's Cove is a mobile home community where we own the lot, not just the mobile. Located maybe a mile off of US41. Most of us are snowbirds, but there is quite a number of people who live here permanently. We are run by a board of directors made up of people in the park. But we do have an HOA company hired by the board. Our HOA fee is very low compared to most. After Ian it went up to $131.00 monthly due to the extensive damage to the clubhouse ect.We are a community of friendly helpful people. After Ian, a lot lost there their place. Others lost most and practically had to gut it and put it back together. But most were lucky and had little to no damage. Everyone helped each other out. We felt so welcome here after buying our trailer.A beautiful pool, shuffleboard, pickle ball, clubhouse with lots of activities, dances with live music a few different times during the "season".Right on Estero River so there is a possibility to lease a boat slip. But there is people on the waiting list for each of the 3 size slips. - Karen Berhiet

Mariner's Cove Park - Home Owners Association Introduce

Introduction / Overview

Nestled in the picturesque Southwest Florida landscape, Mariner's Cove Park - Home Owners Association in Estero, FL, offers a distinctive mobile home community experience that combines affordability with a rich, active lifestyle. Unlike many mobile home parks where residents lease their lots, Mariner's Cove operates as a resident-owned community, meaning homeowners not only own their mobile homes but also the land beneath them. This crucial distinction provides a greater sense of security and investment for residents, making it a highly attractive option for those seeking a more permanent and stable living arrangement in Florida.

Mariner's Cove Park is renowned for its vibrant and incredibly supportive community. While a significant portion of its residents are "snowbirds" who enjoy the warmer Florida winters, there's also a substantial number of permanent residents, fostering a lively year-round atmosphere. This blend of seasonal and full-time residents contributes to a diverse and friendly environment where neighbors are genuinely helpful and caring. The community’s spirit was particularly evident in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, when residents banded together, assisting each other with repairs and recovery efforts, highlighting the strong bonds that define Mariner's Cove.

The community is managed by a dedicated Board of Directors, comprised of residents who live within the park, ensuring that decisions are made with the best interests of the homeowners at heart. While an external HOA company is hired for administrative support, the resident-led governance fosters transparency and a direct voice for all homeowners. This structure, combined with remarkably low HOA fees compared to many similar communities (even after a necessary increase post-Ian for repairs), makes Mariner's Cove a financially attractive and well-managed place to live.

Beyond the strong community and resident-owned model, Mariner's Cove boasts an impressive array of amenities designed to promote an active and social lifestyle. From a beautiful pool to various sports courts and a clubhouse bustling with activities, the park offers something for everyone. Its prime location with direct access to the Estero River further enhances its appeal, especially for boating enthusiasts, making Mariner's Cove Park - Home Owners Association a truly comprehensive and desirable living destination in Southwest Florida.
