★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I've lived in Lucky Lane Mobile Home Park on and off throughout my life, and I can honestly say this is one of the best places to live in Reno. It’s peaceful, clean, and has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that’s hard to find these days. Tucked away from the main streets, the park feels private and hidden, even though it’s still right in the middle of everything you might need. Most nights are so quiet you could hear a pin drop — the only time you’ll hear anything out of the ordinary is the occasional street racing in the distance on a Friday or Saturday night. Other than that, it’s calm, relaxing, and a great place to unwind and feel at home. There are lots of families here, and it’s a kid-friendly neighborhood with children playing outside every day and an ice cream truck that rolls through regularly. Everyone keeps their yards clean and well-maintained, and you never see trash lying around. The people are respectful and friendly, and it just feels like a place where people look out for one another.Tom, the park manager, is very kind and easy to deal with. He’s fair, professional, and really helps keep the park running smoothly. You can tell he cares about the community. My connection to Lucky Lane goes back decades. My great-grandma moved here in 1972 into space #47, then moved to #211 later on. When I was around 8 years old, we moved into #47 ourselves, and I lived here until I was 12. Then we came back when I was 17 and lived in #62. Now, all these years later, I’m back in #47 again with my grandfather, and my mom lives in #33. This place just has a way of pulling me back — it’s like a magnet — and honestly, I don’t mind one bit. It’s always felt like home. There's plenty of guest parking, and it’s super convenient if you rely on public transportation — the CitiFare bus stop is literally across the street. It’s walking distance to 7-Eleven, a grocery store, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and more. This part of Reno has always felt like a good, solid place to be.If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and welcoming community in Reno, I can’t recommend Lucky Lane enough. I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years, but this park has always stayed a wonderful place to live. It’s more than just a trailer park — it’s a real neighborhood, and I’m proud to call it home. - Spent most of my childhood here and it hasn’t changed a bit 40 years later. Quiet, peaceful, and a wonderful park to call home. August 17 · Jacen Bridges
- Yearly rent increases, caution to new residents. Lot rent is set from a out of state corporation looking to maximize profits while park is locally managed. Out of touch is an understatement. Rent is set based on local apartments. No longer a viable option. Sell while you can. Yearly rent increases will surely outpace inflation.Last increase saw 10+ vacancy homes due to local residents no longer being able to afford price hikes, often on a fixed income.Poor communication from owners, justify increasing rent due to operation costs, yet every year when asked why the parks roads have a 3 inch layer of ice for months, "Well the winter really surprised us and we were unprepared". No local maintenance is done. The tree "trimming" service is contracted to a local crew. $100 increase yearly seems pretty steep 3 years in a row for what I can tell only goes towards grass cutting. At an approximate 300 residents these ongoing issues without resolve and lack of upkeep are no wonder people are fleeting from this sinking ship. From a once great community, an unfortunate decision to sell to a out of state corporation that has a history of buying these communities across the country and running them into the ground.Other Local mobile home options are less than half the price within a 5 minute drive. Very interesting facts to consider. December 30 · James Lee
- Grounds are niceDog park is small and difficult to get into. Expensive and don’t even try to contact them for maintenance. Tom doesn’t respond so if there is an issue, good luck.UPDATE (after review): Tom reached out and said he would stop by and help us...again, a no show. Not sure what we have to do to get help at the park. Followed the policies and a good tenant so, is he lazy? December 15 · Michelle Breckner
- I went to pick up something from a resident. I got lost and went to the Mobile Home place near my house in Donner Springs which is a beautiful and clean park. (Sagebrush) It ended up being Lucky Lane Mobil Home park. Not as clean, at all. But in a safe residential area on Mira Loma Dr. January 14 · Melbelle
