Lake Creek Ranch Manufactured Introduce
For many Oregonians seeking a valuable combination of affordability, space, and a desirable location in the Willamette Valley, exploring a quality manufactured home park is an excellent option. Lake Creek Ranch Manufactured in Tangent, Oregon, is a prime example of an established, all-age community that offers manufactured homes for sale, providing a path to homeownership that is often more accessible than traditional stick-built housing in the greater Albany area.
Located in the scenic Linn County area, Lake Creek Ranch is a dedicated Mobile home park that focuses on community living. The park is characterized by individual homes, many of which feature spacious, updated interiors including large living spaces, vaulted ceilings, and modern finishes like laminate flooring and contemporary kitchen and bath fixtures. Unlike apartment rentals, homes in this community typically provide private yards, carports, and dedicated storage areas, offering residents more privacy and utility. The availability of homes with these features is a significant highlight for Oregon residents moving away from high-density apartment living.
While the overall structure of manufactured home communities offers unique benefits, it is important for prospective residents to conduct thorough research and understand the community rules and management style, as management policies can significantly affect the resident experience. Some community rules, such as those governing vehicle parking or visitor policies, can be restrictive. Potential residents in Oregon should always ensure clear and professional communication with management to fully understand all terms and conditions before committing to a purchase or residency. Due diligence in understanding the rules regarding lot improvements, guest policies, and other regulations is crucial to a happy residency.
Despite potential management challenges occasionally reported in residential communities, the core value proposition of Lake Creek Ranch—offering a spacious home in a convenient location at an accessible price point—remains appealing for families, students, and individuals looking for stable, non-apartment housing near Albany and Corvallis. Many homes in the park are well-maintained, with recent updates such as new roofing, exterior paint, and modernized interiors, reflecting the quality investment made by homeowners in the community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It use to be an ok place to live until the new managers started. They have a definite power trip and are extremely rude and unprofessional. I've had personal run-in's with the guy manager and he has showed his true demeanor, disgusting. Now, I'm getting told that if I don't wash off CHALK my child was playing with, I will hear from their attorneys. They are a complete joke and should never be in a management position. I've talked to several neighbors who feel the same way. Sad that 2 people can ruin a whole community.
April 13 · Brittany HenshawWelcome to Lake creek ranch where the owner takes away everything you own with a notice and no information, we’ve owned 3 cars for over 19 years of living here, the cars have fit in our driveway and there was no problem. All of a sudden 3 cars is a violation and their making us get rid of one of our cars. The car does not take up any extra space, it fits in our lot. If you have visitors prepare to be harassed for them visiting too much. Whenever we try to contact the owner or the manager they send us on a rat hunt to get information. When you receive this information it is not clear and goes back and forth between the 2. This is not a family friendly park. Save your time and godless you all.
May 10 · Thane JohnsonIt’s a quiet place, not a lot of action. I work on manufactured homes getting them ready to sell so I am in the park at all hours and have not seen much to worry about. However, some of the property belonging to my bosses who buy the houses as they become vacant, has been stolen and some of the doors kicked in.It seems like crime is opportunistic here, the yards are all neat, and most everyone is older. Some kids not many.
April 20 · Larry HarperNo parking for visitors when coming to visit elderly family, always some broken down red car in a spot and no spots are empty. Manager has 4 spots? Why? When my parents put their home in 1990 the place was very well taken care of, last few years it has slowly declined. Now am trying and also my siblings want to get my parent out of there...
February 11 · Becky BoldenExtremely dishonest management. I put in an offer on a house in this park and neither the realtor or the park manager bothered to be upfront with me about the fact that the park is converting into a 55 and over community. The manager and his wife took my application and a check for the $108 application fee without a word about the conversion. I only found out because the realtor finally decided to be upfront and tell me what was going on. I called the office for the park and they informed me that they have already converted and agreed to shred my check. I cannot believe how shady and deceitful the managers here were.
