Kervins RV Park Reviews
I've had my camper here since November 2023. I love this park. The people are so friendly and the management is amazing 👏 🎣 🦦
Jun 30, 2024 · Sue FitzgeraldStayed here for a fishing trip. Great park within a mile of a public boat ramp. Tawana was very informative prior to our arrival and accommodated every need. Great host! Place was conveniently located off the main rd with grocery store, bait store and restaurant all within close proximity. Will stay here again!
Nov 18, 2024 · James “Jimmy” Cantillo in HIDDEN FISHReally wanted to come to the Angelina National Forest, and I had a great experience at this place! The park is quiet, easy to find from the main road, and real close to Sam Rayburn. The park manager was so nice--I'd highly recommend for anyone looking to fish out here!
Jun 12, 2024 · Lee BravoAre you ready to enjoy your fishing trip to Sam Rayburn Lake at the perfect camp? Well stay at Kervins RV park fish camp! This CLEAN, amazingly kept 3 bedroom camp trailer, is perfectly located about a mile from Cassell Boykins boat launch site(s) to get onto the water! The camp itself is fully operational, CLEAN, and has a full size fridge, range oven, microwave, coffe maker, bathroom with shower. There is carpet in the living room and hallway so I made sure to have house shoes or flip flops and avoid dirty boots inside. Another feature of the camp is a wonderful and separate fish cleaning station just 20 feet off the spacious front porch!! Everything you need!!We brought a portable grill and cooked out on the porch most nights, but used the kitchen and the porch every single night! We also had a portable fish fryer and cooked fresh crappie fillets caught the same day!We had three fisherman for three beds at the camp so it was perfectly comfortable. There is plenty of room to have a queen size blow up mattress in the living room and we did that when we watched TV and weather. Each bedroom room has its own working window A/C unit for comfort. The main window A/C unit in the kitchen area can function as heat or air, and we used the heat function when the temp dropped into the 50's with heavy rains and it worked just fine.Reminder: this is a FISH CAMP, not a Air BnB!! I think it may actually be a singlewide perfectly kept trailer from the 1960's!So the do it yourself items that we brought were bed linens and blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, paper towels, toilet paper, lysol wipes, some grilling utensils and things for the kitchen but there are utensils and pots and pans, cofee cups, trash bag liners, etc. We also brought a 24 inch flatscreen amazon TV and put it in the living room along with my Tmobile mobile internet tower. We plugged it all up and immediately had wifi TV and camp internet!Brookshire Brothers grocery has anything you need to stock the fridge or plan meals for your stay. The grocery is 6 to 7 miles down a country highway easy to get to and there are a couple different stores just outside the RV park with bait and essentials, meat, drinks, etc.I have seen a lot of other single room style fish camps pop up around Zavalla, TX, but this camp is perfect for three to five fisherman on one stay, or a perfect family fishing adventure with the wife and all the kids!! The RV park even has a safe and well maintained small playground for the little kids.Lastly, the RV park managers are always available, friendly, and can answer all questions or provide assistance if assistance is needed. Parking can be tight if all RV spots are full but there is space for two trucks and a boat and more! Just coordinate your parking needs with neighbors (and) management to be considerate of all guests.I will always stay at this fish camp when I visit Zavalla, the beautiful Angeline National Forest, and Sam Rayburn Lake!
