Jackson's Place Tiny Home & RV Resort presents itself as a potential option for locals in the Texas region, particularly those in or near Marshall, who are seeking diverse accommodation solutions for their RVs or a unique tiny home living experience. The suitability of this place for locals can be viewed through several lenses, considering both its advertised features and the broader context of local needs.
Firstly, for Texans who own RVs, the resort's provision of full hookup sites with various pad options (concrete/gravel, pull-through/back-in) offers a practical and accessible solution for temporary or extended stays. Whether a local RVer needs a spot for a weekend getaway, a base while traveling for work, or a longer-term residence, the flexibility in site types and rates caters to a range of needs. The ability to accommodate large RVs (up to 80 feet) is a significant advantage for those with bigger rigs, ensuring ease of parking and setup.
Secondly, the inclusion of tiny home rentals alongside RV sites adds a distinct appeal for locals interested in this growing housing trend. For those curious about minimalist living, or needing a furnished, compact, and potentially more affordable alternative to traditional rentals, the tiny homes offer a unique opportunity. This blend of options could attract a diverse local demographic, from individuals looking to downsize to those seeking a temporary housing solution with a home-like feel.
Furthermore, the resort's location in Marshall offers the advantage of being in East Texas, providing access to local attractions and the natural beauty of the region. For locals, this means the convenience of being close to their community, family, and existing networks, while still having a dedicated space that can feel like a retreat. The advertised security measures and pet-friendly policy also align with common local preferences for safe and inclusive environments.
However, as with any local business, it is crucial for Texans to exercise due diligence. Given that the provided reviews contain significant negative feedback regarding maintenance, communication, and management practices (e.g., power issues, unauthorized credit card charges, unresponsiveness, unannounced power cuts, and cleanliness concerns), prospective local users should prioritize direct and thorough communication with the park management. Visiting the site in person before committing to a stay, especially a long-term one, and verifying the current conditions and management's responsiveness, would be a prudent step to ensure the resort meets individual expectations for "peace of mind" and a well-maintained environment. This proactive approach will help locals determine if Jackson's Place truly offers the "awesome place to live" experience that is sought after in the Texas RV and tiny home community.

Jackson's Place Tiny Home & RV Resort Reviews
DO NOT STAY HERE! Tiffany, does not keep it maintained very well. Then when you tell her there is an issue, she blames you, lies about having the problem assessed, and turns off your power(at the breaker) without telling you.We have been full time in our RV since October with nearly zero issues with RV parks. When the 30amp breaker kept popping on day 1, she blamed us and said it was our RV. (Its a 2025 travel trailer, brand new and no history of electrical issues.)She lied to us, saying she had an electrician come check the breaker, but nobody ever showed up at the times she said her guy showed up.The next morning, she comes by, unannounced, and flips the power off. What if somebody was on oxygen or doing a breathing treatment? That couldve been catastrophic. Not to mention the possibility of power surge damage to our electronics. The neighbors across the street do drag races on the road, the music across the street is ALWAYS blaring, and the park is nasty as is.DO NOT STAY HERE!The response given by the park on this forum is not entirely true.Yes, you did offer another lot, we already had plans on moving anyway so we dealt with the lack of professionalism for two more days.YES, Tiffany ABSOLUTELY cut off our power WITHOUT ANY consent. Please check your facts, please check your managerial persons, and please do better for people paying their hard earned money for peace of mind.Way to show accountability. For the record we have run FAR MORE of our 30amp camper at EVREY OTHER RV PARK, yours is the only one that was not able to provide the correct amperage. An electrician never came by to check anything, my wife was at the camper all day expecting to see him and nobody came.

Dec 21, 2024 · Chrystal JohnsonEvery RV on the lot is pure trash. I lived there a month without hot water, the slide out floor in the living room was completely rotted out. I filed lawsuit against them yesterday in Harrison County, my advice would be to stay away. Slumlord 100%
