This is where the madness with the RV park started.In this line of work, issues are not always fixed on the first attempt, especially when tracing water leaks. However, if I charge someone and the issue persists, I always come back and try to resolve it at no extra charge—because that’s the honest thing to do. All they have to do is let me know.Instead of reaching out to me, this unhappy customer skipped the chain of command and went straight to the front desk, twisting the story to make it seem like I took her money and refused to come back.Now, the front desk lady is telling every single person with RV issues not to go to me because I’m “very expensive.” In reality, I charge $60 less per hour than larger commercial RV shops and $20 less per hour than other local mobile RV techs. On top of that, I’ve been fixing RVs at this park for far less than I normally charge, cutting my own wages to help people. I always make sure my customers know what I should be charging—but at the end of the day, what I charge is none of her business.Yesterday, while I was working on someone’s RV, Carol came strolling up in her golf cart. Thinking I couldn’t hear her because I had my headphones in, she leaned over to the customer and said, “Don’t go to him, he’s charging $$$ an hour.”I could not believe my ears. I finished the job and told the customer not to even worry about paying me because I was going to have a conversation with her.Carol was rude, unprofessional, and nasty. I am no longer in the park, but I received a phone call just about 30 minutes ago. I was told that the park was sold and everyone in it must get out the Owner or the management is not telling the people that they are waiting till the new owners takes over. I really think that is wrong
