In California, mobile home parks operate under a robust and protective legal framework, primarily governed by the Mobilehome Residency Law (MRL). This crucial legislation serves to meticulously safeguard the rights of mobile home owners while also clearly outlining the responsibilities of park management, thereby ensuring a stable, predictable, and fair living environment for all residents. The MRL is not merely a set of guidelines; it provides a comprehensive structure that actively helps prevent disputes and promotes equitable practices within these communities. Furthermore, residents often have access to vital resources such as the Mobilehome Residency Law Protection Program (MRLPP), which offers valuable assistance with dispute resolution, further underscoring the profound commitment to resident welfare and transparent operations within California's mobile home park sector. This strong regulatory environment instills a crucial layer of security and transparency that can be profoundly reassuring for prospective residents, offering invaluable peace of mind about their investment and living conditions.
The inherent communal aspect of mobile home parks is a significant and enduring draw that appeals to a diverse range of individuals and families. These communities often cultivate a warm, close-knit, and genuinely friendly atmosphere where neighbors can readily get to know one another, fostering a profound sense of belonging and mutual support. This environment frequently facilitates shared activities, social gatherings, and a general feeling of camaraderie among residents. Such a vibrant community can be particularly attractive to seniors seeking a peaceful yet socially engaging retirement, or to families looking for a safe and welcoming place where children can play freely and build lasting friendships within the neighborhood. Friendly Village of Simi Valley, through its thoughtful design and active management, strives to foster precisely this type of inviting, harmonious, and truly engaging environment, aiming to create a place where residents can not only feel at home but also feel deeply connected to their community.

Friendly Village of Simi Valley Reviews
Such a nice community! I visit my parents here and it is always nice and quiet. The facilities are nice, we really like the pool and hot tub. We always run into other residents and they are all so kind! Whenever we go over my parents are always telling us about the community events they are going to such as karaoke, seeing a band play, a potluck get together, etc. I almost wish we could live here.
Sep 06, 2024 · Dev NUse to reside there. Beautiful place to live, pety neighbors who love drama. Management is not very professional nor office personnel. Rules apply for some and not others. Secluded neighborhood but all amenities (ie: Pool, jacuzzi and gym) close at 9pm. Pool heated by solar but not year round and solar is not turned on til Management feels like it normally mid May and shut off end of September but we pay year round to be maintained regardless if able to use it or not. Hopefully Sun Communities have fixed some of the issues for the new residents. Oh btw rat infestation due to Strathern Park and management makes no attempts to trap nor set poison out and rats are destructive.
