The concept of a 55+ community emphasizes active adult living, offering amenities and activities tailored to this demographic. It fosters a sense of camaraderie and shared interests, creating a supportive neighborhood where residents can enjoy their retirement years to the fullest. While every community has its unique characteristics, and individual experiences may vary, Foothills of Hemet strives to offer "everything needed to have a good life," as attested by some residents. This article will explore the specifics of Foothills of Hemet Mobile Home, from its accessible location to its key services and features, providing valuable insights for Californians considering this welcoming community as their next home.
Foothills of Hemet Mobile Home is located at 1250 N Kirby St, Hemet, CA 92545, USA. This address places it within the city of Hemet, which is nestled in the beautiful San Jacinto Valley of Riverside County, Southern California. The park’s location on N Kirby Street provides residents with direct access to a key local thoroughfare.
For Californians, accessibility to and from Hemet is generally good, connecting to larger regional centers via state routes. Hemet is served by State Route 74 and State Route 79, which provide connections to major freeways such as Interstate 10 (I-10) to the north and Interstate 215 (I-215) to the west. These freeways are crucial for residents who wish to commute to nearby cities like Riverside, Temecula, or even further afield to Orange County or Los Angeles for work, family visits, or leisure activities. While Hemet maintains a somewhat more relaxed pace than the major metropolitan areas, its connectivity ensures residents are never too far from broader Southern California amenities.
A specific point of accessibility for Foothills of Hemet, as noted by a resident, is the park's entrance/exit situation. Currently, the primary access point is located on Kirby Street. While there used to be an additional entrance/exit on Commonwealth, it is now chained and locked down. This means that all ingress and egress are routed through the Kirby Street gate, which can add a few minutes to travel time, particularly to the rear of the complex. This is an important detail for residents to be aware of, especially concerning emergency vehicle access, which is a common concern in larger communities. The park does feature a security gate and call box, although its functionality is noted to be intermittent. Additionally, residents mention the presence of "huge potholes when exiting onto Kirby," which is a practical consideration for vehicle maintenance.
Within Hemet itself, the park's location on N Kirby Street typically offers reasonable proximity to essential services and local attractions. Residents can expect to find various grocery stores, pharmacies, banking services, and local eateries within a short driving distance. Hemet also provides access to medical facilities, including Hemet Global Medical Center, and various specialist offices. For recreation, the city has numerous parks, golf courses, and community centers. The San Jacinto Valley offers beautiful natural scenery, with opportunities for outdoor activities in the surrounding areas. The combination of local conveniences and regional accessibility, despite specific gate logistics, makes Foothills of Hemet a practical location for its 55+ residents looking to enjoy what Southern California has to offer.

Foothills of Hemet Mobile Home Reviews
There used to be two ways to get in and out. The one on Commenwealth is chained lock down. Only one now, located on Kirby. It takes at least 5 minutes to drive to the rear of the complex. That extra 5 minutes can be life-saving if an ambulance needs to get in. Foothills of Hemet has a security gate and call box that sometimes works. There are always huge potholes when exiting onto Kirby. Its expensive to live there, especially the monthly electricity.

Jan 26, 2025 · jojo ankleThis is a beautiful park it's too bad I couldn't afford to fix up the house I loved there wish there were more to choose from
Mar 23, 2025 · Tammy MarsdenA wonderful community, very friendly and respectful neighbors.
Sep 17, 2024 · Virginia WilliamsLovely place, and wonderful neighbors. The really bad thing about this place is the management. I wanted to visit my aunt for about two weeks. Then they made it a big deal for anyone under 45 to stay for that long. I know it's a 55+, but no visitors?! So... I'm at the point now where she can't even have visitors? (That's what they told me) Her actual own son doesn't want nothing with her. I'm all she has, and can't even visit her without her getting into trouble. So yeah...WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF WANT SOMEONE YOU LOVE, TO LIVE COMFORTABLY.
