Florida Sun Estates Mobile Home Park Reviews
Horrible landlord, Doesn’t want fix any issues, horrible plumbing, we have mole inside of the cabinets in the kitchen, as well as in the bathtub and sink as well, plumbing backing up from the trailer that is behind us that also shares the same septic tank that is no bigger than a refrigerator, it’s really horrible and then when you get to complaining about the issues, Jay decides that he wants to give a notice of non-renewal which in my eyes and ears sounds like eviction in a nice way I hate I even wasted money here, even though it was a little of nothing, but I could’ve been renting somewhere else and not have these ongoing issues, cause we really truly feel as if he knew about these issues before he put us here, I would not recommend this to anybody, and there are several other people out here, complaining about issues as well, and on top of that we see people move in and out of here all the time so we’re just the next to Leave …
Mar 30, 2025 · Johnathan EasonMy son is a single father and was looking for him and his daughter a place to stay that was reasonable because his rent was going up every year, he was in a 1 bedroom apartment paying almost $900 a month for rent which does not include water fees and other fees. We went to Florida Sun Estates Mobile Home Community and found various places that were very nice. He settled on a 3/2 double wide which is very nice. Management (Jay) was so nice and friendly that he helped my son to the fullest. He was approved and moves in this weekend. Also the rent is not over $800 and he is renting to own. Thank you Jay for all your help, you are an awesome person.
Aug 21, 2023 · MelitaMy family & I moved in September 2022, Jay Herring was so loving and caring as soon as we walked into his office. We have been treated with the upmost respect. We have not had any issues with the property manager or neighbors. Maintenance issues get taken care of in the order they are received and promptly. Maintenance are very good and honest individuals. We were blessed to have found here & we are soon to be home owners.
May 01, 2023 · Olga CarrilloMoved in March of 2022. Had a few maintenance issues that came up within a couple of months of moving in but once we called management they came out to fix the issues right away! They changed management half way thru our stay and since have been doing their best to clean up the park and make it more family friendly having events/cookouts during holidays. we’ve always paid our rent on time every month and Jay reached out to us to move us into a nicer unit. Jay has always been super nice and very professional! If you move in pay your rent on time and don’t cause any problems this place is super cheap and in a central location that’s close to pretty much anything you might need! We’ve had no issues with anything in this park and have been really happy here! Thanks Jay!
Feb 28, 2023 · Nicole JeffcoatLot rent went more than double, had a problem with outside panel box for my electricity and had to pay for the new electrical box and the electrician to get it repaired, park didn't want to pay for it. Very weak water pressure allot of times and the park wanted to know what my title status was on my trailer l own which is none of there business l don't think. They gave no reason for wanting to know such private information. Jay does try though and it is a shame some have so much trash , etc in there yards. Been here 30 years and there use to be pride in the park. They are getting things worked out slowly thou. Get worried at times but praying to GOD for the park and residents.
