- On-Site Dining and Convenience: The presence of a pizza place, ice cream shoppe, and a convenience store means guests have easy access to food and supplies without having to leave the resort.
- Customer Service (Mixed Reviews): One review highlights "incredibly helpful" staff like Amy and Jimmy, praising their "Hoosier Hospitality" during an off-season stay and noting anticipation for activities during peak season. However, another review details a "worst experience ever" due to a pricing discrepancy and issues with low-hanging branches scratching an RV and water pressure problems. This indicates a mixed experience with customer service and park maintenance.
- Pull-Through Sites and Leveling: The park offers "very nice pull-through sites" and notes that "All RV Sites are Leveled," which is a significant convenience for RVers, especially those with larger rigs.
While the resort offers a wide array of appealing features, potential visitors should consider the mixed feedback regarding pricing consistency and certain infrastructure elements like tree clearance and water pressure, and perhaps inquire about these directly when booking.

Elkhart RV Resort by Rjourney Reviews
Stayed in this RV park the third week of March when it was out of season. Amy, the park manager was incredibly helpful. She made sure I was able to dump my tanks and refill with fresh water. We booked another stay in June and are looking forward to seeing this park up and running with all the activities. This park has very nice pull through sites with lots of trees. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby. Kudos to Amy and Jimmy for their Hoosier Hospitality during our stay.
Apr 01, 2025 · Richard ClineHands down the worst experience ever.We called on our way to the area and were told the price was $51. When we arrived, we were told it was $76. My wife told her that we were told $51 when we called. The girl told us they've been having issues with the call center and she will honor what we were told.We have an A class RV so we have to put down jack plates, hook up electric and water, put down jacks and put the slides out. Along with setting up the interior. No sooner do I finish when my wife receives a phone call. The "manager" made the girl calls us back and tell us they will now not honor the $51 and we have to pay the $25 difference.I was already ticked off that I had branches scratching along the side and top of my motorhome. And that they are one of those rv parks that decided to cheap out on an extra 6" on the water spout so you can't put your water filter on. So we decided to leave. The comical thing is we told the young lady that we were going to come back for a pizza and to buy a couple of "Lazy Days" shorts. We also had 2 loads of laundry to do. So the older lady who is the "manager" lost at least $150 for that $25. That is some top notch business acumen there. I hope the owner reads this and promotes her.... to McDonald's.Do yourself a favor and drive 9 more miles down the highway to Elkhart Campground. It's far nicer. And if you do stay here, don't trust their water pressure valves. They don't work and WILL cause a leak in your system. I hooked up, went to flush the toilet and the pressure was so high, water shot around the bowl and out of the toilet!
Jun 07, 2025 · Jimmy OThis is a small park but it has a lot of cabins. The RV sites are mostly pull through and all are full service. The owners are super nice and will help with anything you might need. The area is nice too. You can get what you need within minutes. Beware, they say the sites are all level but there not. We had a great weekend with good people.
May 28, 2025 · Deb MartinWe stayed in Cabin 309 during a volleyball tournament weekend and had a great glamping experience! While there were a few minor quirks—like a musty smell, a showerhead that sprayed a bit oddly, and doors that didn’t close perfectly—it’s all part of the charm of a rustic cabin in the woods. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even better. Overall, we highly recommend it for an affordable, fun, and relaxing weekend getaway!
May 11, 2025 · Char SimpsonSure wish I would have known they have a no-cancellation policy. THEY KEPT $800!!!! There is nothing worse than a business that focuses more on keeping every little dime rather than building long term customer relationships. Willing to bet they're unpleasant in more ways than that.
