May 04, 2025 · EyzofgreneCalled and left a message without anyone calling me back. Called to again, clearly the lady that finally answered and sounded like she was driving in a vehicle very unfriendly and simply said she wouldn’t have any availability for 50 amp units. I said I would be happy with 30 amp and she again refused was rude and simply said we wouldn’t fit in a 30amp spot without even knowing the size of our camper. It was very obvious and clear she didn’t want to book a site for whatever reason. Just an overall very rude and strange interaction.
May 16, 2025 · Kimberly WhitelyI was informed that the campground overcharges for power and frequently engages in deceptive practices. If you confront them about these issues, they may resort to ban you from returning. Fortunately, I was adequately warned, and I have given them a one-star rating (which I have since changed to a negative) to draw attention to their shortcomings. It is important to note that if I had the authority, I would have placed a negative rating in front of each star.UPDATEDNo, Cathy, I am not confused with another campground. I have never stated that I have stayed there, but I have visited it. However, it is not possible to charge customers the same rates as the Indiana-Michigan power company. RVs, campers, and other recreational vehicles use such a low amount of power that it is challenging to accurately determine their exact usage. Therefore, they have established a minimum usage rate. Customers are charged based on their actual usage, which is significantly higher than the rates charged by the power company. It is fortunate that you do not own a power company, as we would be financially struggling if we did. Be fair to your customers by accurately measuring their power usage.Furthermore, if you re-examine my post at the beginning of this conversation, you will notice that I have never explicitly stated that I have stayed at the campground. However, I am acquainted with individuals who have visited the campground and whom I will not disclose their names.
