Unanticipated and Unexplained Charges: A resident reported being presented with a sudden, unexplained charge of nearly $400, and a refusal to provide an itemized receipt or explanation, leading to a dispute.
Eviction Threats and Lack of Consultation: The same resident stated they were informed they would be evicted for declining to pay the unexplained charge, and that repairs were demanded "without our agreement or consultation," occurring during an active snowstorm, leaving a family, including a child, without immediate shelter.
Alleged Unprofessional Treatment and Police Involvement: The resident described the experience as "deeply disappointing" and "unprofessional treatment," culminating in police involvement. These accounts suggest significant issues with management practices, transparency, and resident welfare in specific instances.
These contradictory reviews highlight the importance of thorough investigation and direct communication for any prospective resident.

Given the mixed public feedback, particularly the recent serious allegations regarding unexpected charges and eviction threats, it is highly advisable for any prospective resident to exercise significant due diligence. When contacting the park, inquire directly about the current policies regarding billing, lease agreements, and procedures for dispute resolution. It would also be prudent to ask about any specific terms related to long-term stays, including rent increases or maintenance responsibilities. A direct visit to the park to observe the conditions firsthand and, if possible, speak with current residents beyond the provided review, would be a critical step before committing to a stay.
Countryside RV Park, like many RV parks, has the potential to be suitable for locals in Texas who are seeking long-term, affordable RV living. Its location in Greenville offers a blend of quiet country living with reasonable access to the amenities and opportunities of a growing North Texas city and the wider Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The recent investments in amenities like awnings and a new bathhouse/laundry facility demonstrate an effort to provide a more comfortable experience for residents, and the stated goal of fostering community through social events is a positive attribute for locals seeking belonging.
However, for locals, the suitability of Countryside RV Park is significantly complicated by the very serious recent allegations from a resident regarding unexpected charges, lack of transparency, and an eviction threat during severe weather, reportedly leading to police involvement. These types of experiences, if accurate, can undermine the sense of security and fairness that Texans expect from their housing situations. While the park's efforts to improve facilities and build community are commendable, these concerns raise important questions about management practices and resident rights. Therefore, while the park's physical location and some amenities may be appealing, locals considering Countryside RV Park must conduct extensive personal verification of current conditions and management policies, and thoroughly understand their rights as tenants, to ensure it aligns with their expectations for a stable and respectful living environment.

Countryside RV Park Reviews
I have been at Countryside Rv Park since April. Within the time that I have been here they have built awnings for the back portion of the park and completed a bath house/ laundry facility for a more convenient stay for the guests. The staff is very respectful and professional. The owners are very polite and homely to the guests. The park has also started doing interactive competitions between guests for holiday decorations and started offering a weekly donut and coffee bar to meet and greet with current and new guests.
Jan 09, 2025 · Miranda Adams4 MONTH UPDATE-- READ THIS --Subsequently, the park demanded an unanticipated payment of nearly $400. When we questioned the charge and requested an explanation or itemized receipt, I declined to pay until more information was provided. The owner then informed us we would be evicted unless we consented to repairs being carried out without our agreement or consultation. This eviction is occurring during an active snowstorm, leaving my wife, our 3-year-old child, our dog, and me without immediate shelter. The sudden charge was neither explained nor justified, despite our reasonable request for clarity. This experience has been deeply disappointing, particularly as we initially felt safe and comfortable here. However, after enduring this unprofessional treatment, I can no longer recommend this park. For reference:I will be posting a detailed review, including documented photos, videos, and a timeline of this situation, on my RV lifestyle platform within the next few days. This post will remain until the park reaches out to us professionally and makes an effort to resolve the matter. For others considering RV parks, please be aware there are many alternatives where residents are treated with respect and fairness. keep in mind WE Called the police..Written on 01/08/2025
Jan 09, 2025 · That honest Review guyThis place is amazing. So nice to be outside of the city limits but close enough to the city conveniences. The office and owners truly care about the way their guests feel and want them to be happy with their stay. It’s so quiet and peaceful out here.
Jan 09, 2025 · T PYou can’t beat their prices. I only pay $450 for a covered site that is on the end where we can look out and see deer roaming. The office staff is nice, they do free coffee and donuts, the showers are amazing, and it is so quiet and peaceful. They even did a site decorating contest for Christmas and my neighbor won a fire pit! The best RV Park around.
May 13, 2025 · Michelle MayfieldI have lived here for 4 months now! I love it! Very quiet and peaceful! Very nice neighbors and staff! Property is very well maintained, very clean. I love the both house and laundry area on site. Definitely recommend for overnight or long term. ❤️
