We've met some really nice campers here but as far as the park itself the only good thing about it other than the good people that we've met is the river. One of the friends that we met a couple campsites below us had to sweep out the bath house and clean it so that it could be used they did not have spots available for us and we've made our reservations a couple of months ago and we had to wait about 45 minutes to an hour before they got us a spot cleaned up so that we could even get our camper into it. Cannot use our shower there is absolutely no water pressure and we have a there again the friends that we met two sites down from us have no water and the spot next to them is empty so they're going to try running their hoes to it but my husband could not even take a shower but he like to never got the soap off of him because of the lack of water pressure. There's no store there's no official office to check into that we can find and the list just goes on and on and on other than the nice campers in our neighbors that we've met. I think the problem is they just were not prepared to open and this is a big weekend for camping as well as singing in the Smokies. I don't like giving reviews like this but I take a lot of pride in my reviews and I try to be as honest and as far as I can but like I said the only good part is the river it is beautiful during the day with all of the ducks in the cranes I just think they should have been more prepared and should not have opened this weekend oh and we did not have a deck at our site which was promised it all sides and we don't have one but then again that's okay. Taking all of this into consideration I do understand that they had an awful lot of damage and she spent thousands and thousands of dollars so I'm told on repairs but then again when you're in business your customers should come first they should be a priority and sad to say I do not recommend this place - connie perry
Country Girls RV Park Overview Intro From visitors Detail Photos Location Reviews

Country Girls RV Park Introduce

For RV travelers across North Carolina, choosing the right park is crucial for a comfortable and enjoyable trip. While many seek out peaceful retreats with reliable amenities, it's equally important to be aware of real-world guest experiences. Country Girls RV Park, located in Bryson City, NC, is a destination that has garnered attention, and prospective visitors in North Carolina should consider detailed feedback from past campers to inform their decision.

The allure of Bryson City and the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains is undeniable. This region draws countless visitors looking to immerse themselves in nature, from river activities to hiking trails. An RV park in this area would ideally serve as a convenient and comfortable base for exploring these natural wonders. Country Girls RV Park is situated to offer access to the scenic beauty of the area, including a prominent river feature that has been highlighted by guests.

However, recent guest reviews for Country Girls RV Park present a challenging picture, detailing significant operational and amenity concerns. One camper, despite meeting "really nice campers" and appreciating the "beautiful" river with ducks and cranes, expressed considerable dissatisfaction with the park's overall readiness and service quality. This guest noted issues with campsite availability upon arrival, even with prior reservations, leading to a substantial wait time of 45 minutes to an hour for a spot to be cleaned and made ready. This suggests potential organizational difficulties, particularly during peak periods like a "big weekend for camping as well as singing in the Smokies."

A recurring and critical issue highlighted by this reviewer was the state of the facilities and utilities. Specifically, the bathhouse was found to be unclean to the point where other campers felt compelled to sweep and clean it themselves before use. This points to a significant lapse in park maintenance and cleanliness standards. Furthermore, a severe lack of water pressure at their site made showering impractical, with the guest reporting difficulty rinsing off soap. Other campers encountered even more fundamental problems, with friends two sites down having "no water" at their designated spot, prompting them to consider running a hose to an empty neighboring site, underscoring inconsistent utility service.

Beyond the direct campsite and utility issues, the lack of general park infrastructure and services was also a point of concern. The guest reported no on-site store for necessities and no identifiable "official office to check into." This absence of basic conveniences and a clear point of contact can create significant challenges for campers, particularly during unforeseen circumstances or when seeking assistance. The general sentiment was that the park seemed unprepared for opening, despite potentially undergoing "thousands and thousands of dollars" in repairs from prior damage, suggesting that operational readiness did not match investment.

Another review painted an even starker picture, raising serious concerns about safety, atmosphere, and management. This camper and their family decided to leave after just two nights due to feeling unsafe allowing their children to play outside. They described the owners as "extremely rude and hostile," a very troubling observation that directly impacts guest comfort and willingness to stay. The park's appearance was unfavorably compared to an "average druggie trailer park," suggesting issues with overall aesthetics and potentially the type of environment it cultivates. Furthermore, disturbances from "loud rap music and engines revving at all times" indicate a lack of quiet hours enforcement or general disregard for other campers' peace, leading to the decision to "pack up and stay elsewhere" with a strong warning to "DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!"

These combined reviews offer a critical perspective for any North Carolina resident considering Country Girls RV Park for their next outdoor adventure. While the location near the river in Bryson City holds natural appeal, the consistent and severe issues reported regarding cleanliness, water pressure, site readiness, lack of amenities, noise disturbances, and particularly, management's conduct and perceived hostility, are significant deterrents. Prospective visitors should be aware of these documented challenges, which raise questions about the park's current operational standards and commitment to guest satisfaction. The beauty of the natural surroundings, while acknowledged, appears to be overshadowed by the reported deficiencies in core RV park services and overall guest experience.

Conclusion: Why Country Girls RV Park May Be a Challenging Option for Locals

For RV enthusiasts and families across North Carolina seeking a reliable and enjoyable camping experience, particularly in the beautiful Bryson City area, considering all available feedback is paramount. While Country Girls RV Park is situated amidst the stunning natural landscapes of the Great Smoky Mountains, offering access to a beautiful river, the collective experiences of recent visitors present significant challenges that local users should be fully aware of before making reservations.

The primary draw, the scenic river access, is indeed a natural asset. However, this positive aspect appears to be overshadowed by widespread and severe operational deficiencies reported by guests. Issues such as unkempt bathhouses requiring self-cleaning, critically low water pressure, and even complete lack of water at sites are fundamental problems that directly impact the comfort and practicality of an RV stay. For North Carolina residents planning a relaxing getaway, these basic utility and cleanliness failures can quickly turn a vacation into a frustrating experience.

Furthermore, the reported lack of preparedness for peak weekends, leading to long waits for sites, and the absence of an official on-site office or store, indicate a significant gap in customer service and park management. The most concerning feedback, however, revolves around the reported demeanor of the owners, described as "extremely rude and hostile," coupled with serious safety concerns and unchecked noise disturbances from other campers. Such issues create an unwelcoming and potentially unsafe environment, making it unsuitable for families with children or anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

While some guests noted meeting "nice campers," the overall consensus from the provided reviews is that the park's operational challenges and management issues severely detract from any natural appeal. For North Carolina locals who value reliable amenities, a well-managed environment, and a sense of security and peace during their outdoor adventures, the extensive negative feedback for Country Girls RV Park suggests it may not meet expected standards for a positive camping experience. Prospective visitors are strongly advised to consider these documented concerns carefully and explore alternative options in the region that can provide a more consistent and comfortable stay.
