Situated in the charming small town of Coulee City, this municipal park provides a no-fuss, welcoming environment for both seasoned RV travelers and traditional tent campers. It embodies the classic, family-friendly Washington camping experience, focusing on easy access to nature and essential amenities over luxury.
This park is a prime destination for those who appreciate the convenience of a well-maintained, city-run facility combined with the beauty of a lakeside setting. Its location on the shores of **Banks Lake** makes it an immediate draw for water enthusiasts. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- About 30 miles from Grand Coulee Dam, this municipal park is affordable and we like its first come first served style. Sometimes you just don’t want to make a reservation. Mostly WA state plates, looks like a place where family and friends get together on the weekends. Swim beach for kids, boat launch for mom and dad, twice a day cleaned bathhouses for all. Not fancy but functional. Gas and a small grocery nearby. June 27 · Sheric Adventures
- Nice park, great rates. Close to the lake to paddle board and fish on, great fishing for bass and walleye (my personal favorite). Beautiful sunsets and BBQ times are here. September 15 · Traci Bruggman
- This City Park was a big surprise for me! Positives are it’s first come first serve. No reservations necessary. It’s right on a large lake, Banks Lake, which was pretty with clear water. There are LOTS of campsites. Pull thrus and back Ins some with 30 amps and some with 50 amps. Lots of tent sites right along the lake. This seems to be a old campground with lots of concrete picnic tables but also old dirty and falling apart wooden benches. The sites are all close to one another. Some sites have old large trees with lots of shade. Our site #27 had a big shade tree. It was very hot during our 5 day stay 100+. We kept our a/c in all afternoon and we’re thankful for the shade. Hottest time of the day was 2:00 to 5:00. Month of August 2021. Very lovely lake sunset. Great brewery as in coffee not beer. Very cute and clean. Good biscuits and gran. As much as I liked this park I gave it a 4 not a 5 because it needs some TLC but I would come again. August 12 · R Debbie Joy
- Owner's are great! Always very friendly and helpful! Nice, quiet park, yet laid back enough to have a good time (of course as long as you're respectful to others) in the evenings at the campfire. Great views of Banks Lake! February 03 · L Wescott
- No campground host, conflicting guidance on check out times, park employees rude and unfriendly. Boat docks for loading /unloading only and in need of repairs. Extra fee charges for just about everything. No law enforcement /security cited during stay. May 08 · Larry Hinton
