Coronado Village Manufactured Home and RV Community Introduce
For many New Mexicans, finding a place to settle down that offers flexibility, affordability, and a vibrant lifestyle is key. In the bustling city of Albuquerque, where the Sandia Mountains meet the Rio Grande, Coronado Village Manufactured Home and RV Community presents a unique and compelling option. This versatile community caters to a diverse range of residents, from those seeking a long-term manufactured home solution to RV enthusiasts looking for a welcoming base for an extended stay or a quick visit.
Coronado Village isn't just a place to park your home; it aims to be a true community, offering a blend of convenience, amenities, and a sense of belonging. As one satisfied resident highlighted, "Coronado Village was really a nice place as well. It was clean and taken care of with a lot of respect and consideration for the residents there." While every community has its challenges, the positive experiences shared by many paint a picture of a place dedicated to providing a quality living experience. This article will explore what makes Coronado Village Manufactured Home and RV Community a notable choice for locals considering their housing and travel needs in the Land of Enchantment.
Coronado Village Manufactured Home and RV Community is a unique residential and recreational complex located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It distinguishes itself by offering options for both long-term manufactured home residents and short-to-long-term RV campers, creating a diverse and dynamic community. The property is designed to provide a resort-style living experience with a focus on family-friendly amenities and a well-maintained environment.
The community strives for a clean and respectful atmosphere, as evidenced by a long-term resident's praise: "It was clean and taken care of with a lot of respect and consideration for the residents there." The presence of dedicated staff, like the former manager Geraldine Martin, who "went above and beyond and was so kind" in assisting with stressful transitions, speaks to a commitment to customer service and resident support. However, it's worth noting that, like any large establishment, experiences can vary. One RV traveler expressed frustration regarding a strict check-in policy for RVs, stating, "absolutely no check in after 4 pm because they and they alone have to hook up your water, power, and sewer." This highlights the importance of understanding all rules and policies thoroughly before booking, especially for short-term stays. Despite such isolated incidents, the overall aim of Coronado Village appears to be providing a comfortable, amenity-rich environment for both its permanent residents and transient guests. It boasts a mix of established manufactured homes and spacious RV sites, often shaded, designed to accommodate various sizes of rigs, including "Big Rigs."
Coronado Village Manufactured Home and RV Community enjoys a prime location at 8401 Pan American Fwy NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113, USA. This strategic position offers exceptional accessibility, making it an attractive spot for both local residents and travelers passing through. Situated directly off I-25 (via Exit 233, then a block west on Alameda Blvd and half a mile south on Pan American Freeway), the community provides effortless access to major transportation arteries, facilitating easy commutes to downtown Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and beyond.
Beyond its excellent highway access, the park's location offers proximity to some of Albuquerque's most beloved attractions and essential services. It is particularly renowned for its unbeatable proximity to Balloon Fiesta Park, allowing residents and RV guests to "watch the hot air balloons take off and land during Balloon Fiesta" right from their sites. This is a significant draw for many, especially during the annual international event.
The surrounding area provides a wealth of conveniences. Shopping, dining, and entertainment options are easily accessible, ensuring that residents have everything they need close by. Local schools, healthcare facilities, and other services are also within a reasonable driving distance. The convenience of being "close to everything," as one reviewer noted, combined with the ease of navigating the Pan American Freeway, makes Coronado Village a highly accessible and desirable location within the greater Albuquerque metropolitan area. The park's design allows for drive-in access, with parking available at sites, facilitating smooth arrivals for both manufactured home residents and RV visitors.
Coronado Village is designed as a resort-style community, offering a comprehensive suite of services and amenities for both its manufactured home residents and RV guests:
Manufactured Home Lots & Sales/Rentals: The park provides spaces for manufactured homes, with options for lot rental, and sometimes offers updated pre-owned homes for sale or rent directly within the community.
RV Sites with Full Hookups: Spacious, oversized private RV sites are available for daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term stays. These sites are equipped with full hookups, including 30-amp and 50-amp electricity, water, and sewer connections. It's noted that park staff handle initial hook-ups, hence the strict check-in times for RVs.
Gated Entry: The community features a gated entry, providing an enhanced sense of security and controlled access for residents and guests.
On-site Management: A dedicated management team is on-site to assist residents, address concerns, and ensure the smooth operation of the park. Positive feedback often highlights the helpfulness and approachability of staff members like Geraldine Martin.
Pristine Laundry Facilities: Clean and well-maintained laundry facilities are available for resident and guest use.
Clean Shower Facilities: Modern and clean shower facilities are provided, especially beneficial for RV campers who may not have full shower amenities in their rigs.
Utilities Included for Short-Term RV Stays: For daily and weekly RV stays, utilities are typically included in the rate. For longer-term RV and manufactured home stays, utilities (sewer, trash, water) may be charged separately from the base rate.
Pet-Friendly Environment: The park welcomes pets and offers "acres of lush green walking areas for you and your furry friends."
Resort-Style Amenities: Coronado Village boasts a range of resort-style amenities, including a clubhouse with fitness equipment, a spa, areas for crafts/card games, billiards, a breakfast bar, a full kitchen, and a lounge area with a big screen TV. Outside, there's a swimming pool (seasonal and heated), sports courts (basketball, volleyball, tennis), and large outdoor spaces including a "7-acre park" and a "soccer field."
Family Community Focus: The park promotes itself as a "FAMILY COMMUNITY & RV RESORT," offering "activities for the whole family all year round." This includes year-round social events like breakfasts, holiday parties, game nights, dances, and Easter Egg hunts, overseen by an Activities Director.
Prime Location for Balloon Fiesta: Arguably one of its biggest draws is its proximity to Balloon Fiesta Park, allowing guests to witness the iconic hot air balloon launches and landings. This makes it an ideal spot during the annual festival.
Spacious and Shaded RV Sites: RV travelers can enjoy "oversized private shaded RV sites" that can accommodate "Big Rigs," providing comfort even in the New Mexico sun.
Well-Maintained Grounds: Multiple reviews commend the park for being "clean and taken care of with a lot of respect and consideration for the residents."
Affordable Housing Option: For manufactured home residents, Coronado Village aims to offer "affordable homes" and an "affordable family resort lifestyle," representing a strong value proposition in the local housing market.
Strong Customer Service (as noted by some): The positive experience with staff, particularly Geraldine Martin, highlights a commitment to helpful and kind service.

Coronado Village Manufactured Home and RV Community Reviews
This review is a long time coming but it is needed. Geraldine Martin was the manager that helped us. She went above and beyond and was so kind. In 2019, we needed a spot for our travel trailer for 6 months, as my husband was relocating from out of state and was going to be staying in that trailer until the rest of us joined us. We literally had less than a month to find a spot, and Geraldine was able to accommodate us. She was pleasant to work with and great with communication. Im not sure if she's still at Coronado Village, but I do want to thank her for helping us during that stressful transition period. Coronado village was really a nice place as well. It was clean and taken care of with a lot of respect and consideration for the residents there. Thank you Geraldine for your help!
Jul 03, 2025 · Lisa-Ashley DionneSkip this place, it wasn't till after we booked and they took the non refundable fee then all the rules were discussed. What wasn't clear was absolutely no check in after 4 pm because they and they alone have to hook up your water, power, and sewer. When we called to say we would be after 4 because of traffic, we were then clearly informed there would be no staying there that night. After 100+ campsites who makes up this stuff? We drove by at 5:15 pm and had to boondock at a truck stop because of them not being up front.
May 28, 2025 · PadfootAlthough a little expensive for the local RV market, Coronado is an excellent site, really clean and hogh-quality facilities. I was directed to a spot just feet from the showers and laundry. Hookup sites are not notch. The gate access and staff are accessible, would definitely return to treat myself to a really nice place.
Feb 25, 2025 · Ward HalversonSTAY AWAY!My home that I lived in for 2 years was unfortunately shot at on Christmas night. I have a small child and immediately packed my stuff and moved. Management did not care AT ALL! Forcing my family and I to pay for the damages as well as not wanting to let us out of our lease. (Even though we gave them a 60 day notice). Asked for camera footage and conveniently the cameras stopped working the night before. They advertise the community as “gated”, yet the gates are NEVER closed. Brought this issue up after what happened to my home and management literally said “Yeah, they just don’t work, we apologize”. DO NOT RISK YOUR SAFETY!
Jan 20, 2024 · Sierra DuranWent into the office to purchase one of the two trailers they had just listed 4-6hours prior. Was told that one of them was sold? They have two young ladies working the front office and they treated me like I was bothering them for asking to do a walk through of the trailers. After a very awkward interaction with the "main" young lady I was advised that I would get a phone call from a person named Angela.Well I have still never spoken to anyone nor have I had any follow up with this company. When trying to sell a high dollar value item, and you have a buyer with cash in hand, you don't NOT CALL THEM!I then contacted Meadowbrook and was never contacted back by them either? To the owners of the place, this is how your front office is doing business. They CONTROL who they sell to.
