Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone Park Reviews
Our stay at Jellystone Park was absolutely incredible! The park was extremely clean, and the staff was phenomenal—so friendly, welcoming, and truly some of the hardest-working people we’ve ever encountered. There were nonstop activities for the kids, from swimming and fishing to crafts, wagon rides, and so much more. Every day was packed with fun, and the staff kept everything running smoothly with a smile. We’re so grateful for the amazing experience and can’t wait to come back! This is truly a hidden gem
Jun 16, 2025 · Brittany NWe recently stayed at the Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone Campground and had a fantastic experience! We decided to rent linens to make packing easier, and it was a great choice. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our cabin, which was clean, cozy, and stocked with the basic household essentials we needed. After a day of travel, we opted for the on-site food truck for dinner. The food was average but definitely convenient—and much easier than cooking after a long drive! The real highlight of our stay was the incredible variety of activities for the kids. This campground is truly a paradise for families. From disc golf and the playground to the jump pad, pool (note: the large pool is currently under construction), human foosball, fishing, and kayaking—there was no shortage of things to do.But the biggest hit with our kids? The Wibits on the lake! They couldn’t get enough and were happily worn out by the end of each day.If you’re looking for a fun, safe place where kids can roam freely and make unforgettable memories, this is it. We’re already counting down the days until our next trip back!
Jun 07, 2025 · Desiree GriffinThis is the best campground I have ever had the pleasure of camping at. There were going to be three campers in our group camping, but our friend had a life-threatening medical emergency, and the park refunded her money. This was a decent thing to do. The people here actually enjoy working here. They are pleasant and very helpful. Ranger Mark is a stand-out. He is funny and friendly. You can tell he loves the job. The spaces are large. The park is beautiful. There are a lot of activities for kids. You can rent golf carts and canoes. There are a lot of fish in the lake, some are huge. Full hookup spots with sewer, water, and electric. The bathrooms are some of the nicest I have seen. They are clean and spacious. There is a food truck most days. There is a well stocked camp store. The tables and fire rings look new. If you have kids, this is the place to camp.
May 27, 2025 · Thomas KemmettLocation is likely based on preference, but I love that it’s away from all the big cities and highways. It’s a great place for family to get away and enjoy the outdoors. My kids loved all the activities and swimming. My wife and I felt the place was clean and cozy.
Jun 16, 2025 · David KanieckiGreat cheap, easy weekend getaway with the kids. Getting a cabin on the lake was nice because you get a pretty view. Spots are close together so if you want space and privacy, this isn’t the place for you. But if you have kids, it’s great. So many things for them to do and lots of other kids to play with and keep them busy (which means you can relax!) Cabins were very clean and they have tvs and WiFi if youre desperate. Bundles of wood are delivered to your site which is also great. Employees are friendly. The only complaint I have is that the big pool is down for the summer (they do have a smaller, heated pool open though) which didn’t affect us because the weather was abnormally cold for this time. It just would’ve been nice to know- that might have affected my decision. Also the car track isn’t there. That being said, they do have new managers that seem to be making a lot of improvements and are really focused on customer service. I would definitely recommend if you have kids as long as the pool isn’t your priority.
