Clackamas River RV Park Introduce
For Oregon residents seeking an authentic blend of nature, security, and community, **Clackamas River RV Park** stands out as a premier destination in the Estacada area. Situated just 6.5 miles east of Estacada on OR-224, this RV park is more than a place to park an RV—it is a thriving, gated community nestled right against the natural splendor of the Clackamas River and the Mount Hood National Forest. The park caters to both short-term visitors and, importantly, long-term residents, offering a consistent environment where neighbors truly become a "big family."
The sentiment from long-term residents is overwhelmingly positive, often describing the area as **"Gods country"** due to the beautiful, scenic surroundings and immediate access to outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. This strong sense of place is complemented by the quality of life within the park. Management is consistently praised as "super friendly" and genuinely caring about every tenant, fostering a safe atmosphere where "everyone keeps an eye out for each other." This sense of safety and community care is enhanced by the park’s status as a **gated community with security cameras on-site**, providing added peace of mind for all who call it home.
While the park is meticulous about maintaining high standards for shared spaces, as noted by the necessary reminders for residents to be "respectful of the cleanliness of laundry rooms and bathrooms," the overall consensus is that the facilities are well-cared for. Most of the spaces are described as **spacious**, allowing for comfortable and enjoyable living, whether for a temporary stay or as a long-term home base in Clackamas County.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a friendly place overall! Kind of like a small town in itself. Some people can be really gross with the facilities and so there are a a lot of reminders to be respectful of the cleanliness of laundry rooms and bathrooms etc. but overall it’s clean and definitely well taken care of. Management is great I feel like there is good communication and everyone in the office is friendly and super helpful. Most of the spaces are spacious and the views and access to fishing and hiking etc are right outside your door. It’s a beautiful place to stay
September 06 · Jennifer ONeilMy wife and I have lived here for several years now and we love it. It's such a beautiful and scenic area to be in, truly Gods country. We are also so fortunate to have the best managers you would ever want. They are super friendly and above all else they genuinely care about everyone. We love them so much. The other tenants are extremely nice and it's a place you just feel safe in. Everyone keeps an eye out for each other like a big family. I can't imagine living anywhere else. How lucky we are!!!!Aaron and Yvonne 😀
August 17 · Schu FamilyA great RV Park! It is set in a gorgeous natural setting, next to the Clackamas River (on the other side of the OR 224 road, opposite Promontory Marine), just where Mt. Hood National Forest begins. Only an hour from Portland and only minutes from the last town of Estacada, yet one is 'there', in the midst of majestic wilderness (there is a road sign, close by, saying no 'NO GAS FOOD OR LODGING BEYOND THIS POINT' which I like being reminded of ☺️). Most (or all?) residents are full timers who make it their home. There is no hustle of recreational visitors and activity - there are no 'attractions' in the park; only infrastructure necessities - RV spots with water sewer and electric, as well as public shower rooms and washing - drying appliances. It is clean, quiet and peaceful - it is managed exceptionally well! Thank you!!!
July 18 · E S (Saat)I was so excited to call and find out more information about the park. I camp on Mt Hood year round and grew up in Estacada so the location was ideal. I looked over their website but there isn’t much info. I called and was able to get ahold of Valerie.I explained that I’d like to find out more about the property and staying there. She first asked if I was on the waitlist, I said I didn’t know there was one. She then said all vehicles have to be 2015 or newer (RV or Van.) Valerie wasn’t mean, but I definitely felt like I had interrupted her more important work. At no point did I get the impression there was any interest in doing business with me.If you’re looking for a place in the area I highly recommend River Mill RV Park. They have the similar rules but are really nice and make exceptions back to 2000 for RV’s in good shape. They also have the pertinent info on their website, and most of all you feel wanted instead of like an interruption.
January 29 · ShannaA beautiful wedding was held in the parks community facilities. Really successful! And in true Oregon style, what was a stunning outside wedding quickly became an indoor wedding.Nice small family gathering feature.
