Central RV Park at Parkside Reviews
It's definitely a nice RV park. They had part-timers and full-timers. All of the services were well-maintained and easy to reach. My site was level and even had a small tree. It's very dog friendly with a huge dog park at the back of the property that my dogs loved running around in. They even have donated toys. Saturday morning, they had coffee and donuts, which included kolaches, breakfast tacos, orange juice, and tea. Everyone was very friendly. There's a lot of retired and former military. We'll definitely be back!
May 12, 2025 · Eyzofgrene* The entire park is gravel , including the lots.* All , the sites are far too small & there's no where to park your vehicles but in the lane.* I had a small cargo trailer that I was required to move 3 times after being told where to park it the previous two times.*I was told the picnic table by my rv spot was not for my use & that I could'nt use my grill (charcoal) because it may damage it...*If I dumped my trash , I had one or more nosey Nancy's roll up on their golf carts to see what I was doing.*If I went to the laundry room , again the Nosey Nancy's would show up..* I was bombarded with emails about the 10 mph speed limit .As I mentioned , the entire park is graveled .I have a late model expensive truck that I didnt enjoy getting covered in dust daily , but also obeyed the speed limit. The nosey elderly guests who have nothing but time complained that I threw gravel as I exited/entered the park. This is an absolute lie..* I have never paid an electric bill as high as I did at this park..It was double the highest I've ever paid & I have spent the last 20 yrs in my rv from march to october traveling Texas for my work..* The rent you pay is too much for what you get..I have a bumper pull , 30 amp rv & I paid over $900 including the outrageous electric charges...***There are much cheaper parks nearby with ample space for your rv & vehicle .I highly suggest you chose one of them..As I left the park I realized why there were so many empty spaces in the height of vacation season..Its very poorly managed .
Jul 07, 2025 · PdrMarcWe travel in a small van, stayed here one night to charge up and shower. The facilities were very well configured and very clean!! Not even a cigarette butt anywhere. And the bathrooms/showers were maybe the cleanest we’ve ever seen. Obviously very well cared for. And good communicators. Would be a good place to stay longer.
Jan 10, 2025 · Lyman FogelI stayed here as a travel nurse on assignment at a local hospital. Very relaxed, quiet rv park with great management. Greg and Amy were exceptional. Even on their days off they responded in a timely manner to emails. The neighbors are all friendly and they have frequent gatherings such as potlucks and food trucks. The laundry room and bathhouse are clean and well organized. You can even pay for laundry with an app...so no need for quarters. There is a very convenient on-site propane refill. The park is centrally located and close to any amenity you could ask for even though you are far from the noise and bustle of the urban areas. The only sounds you hear are the distant howls of coyotes and crows of roosters. Each site is large with ample room between neighbors and the gravel drains very well in the rain. I have truly enjoyed my time here and will come back if another travel assignment calls my name.
Dec 07, 2024 · Kris FossanThis park is amazing and the people are some of the kindest people I have ever met. After 5 months, I sadly sd goodbye to go travel. But I look forward to coming back this fall! Neighbors help neighbors here and we take care of each other. I have never felt so safe at any other park. Amy and Greg are the BEST!
