CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY Introduce
For many Texans, finding an affordable and accessible place to call home is a crucial step towards building a stable future. Mobile home parks, also known as manufactured home communities, present a unique and often more budget-friendly housing solution compared to traditional homes. They offer a distinct lifestyle that can appeal to individuals and families seeking community, independence, and a manageable cost of living. In the historic town of Cameron, Texas, Cameron Mobile Home Community provides one such option for those looking to settle in this part of the state.
Cameron Mobile Home Community aims to offer a living environment where residents can establish their homes and build a life within a community setting. The general appeal of mobile home parks often lies in their capacity to provide a sense of neighborhood, where residents are part of a shared space. One resident's observation that "This is a good family area because there are a lot of kids" points to a demographic that values a family-friendly atmosphere, where children can grow up alongside their peers. This aspect of mobile home living can be a significant draw for many families seeking a supportive environment.
It's important for prospective residents to consider all aspects of community living. While the community offers a place for families, some past reviews have highlighted areas that may be challenging for certain individuals. One review mentioned that "Trains run about every 15 minutes or so on certain days all day and into the night and the cross tracks are about 75 yards away so yeah.... Very LOUD. Enough to drive you insane. But if you are use to it then this is your dream area." This candid feedback suggests that while some might adapt to the ambient noise, others may find it impactful. Understanding such factors beforehand can help set realistic expectations for those considering Cameron Mobile Home Community as their new home.
Cameron Mobile Home Community benefits from its location within the heart of Cameron, Texas. Situated at 1005 E 3rd St, Cameron, TX 76520, USA, the park is positioned in a town known for its rich history and small-town charm. Cameron offers a quieter pace of life, distinct from the hustle and bustle of larger Texas cities, making it an attractive option for those who prefer a more relaxed environment.
The park's address on E 3rd Street places it within easy reach of Cameron's local amenities. Residents will find access to essential services such as grocery stores, local shops, and community facilities. Cameron boasts a variety of historic sites and buildings, including the Milam County Courthouse, the Milam County Historical Museum, and the Old Town Cameron & Railroad Miniature Museum, offering opportunities for local exploration and appreciation of the town's heritage.
While Cameron provides a local charm, its strategic location in Milam County also offers a degree of accessibility to larger regional centers. For instance, Temple and Bryan/College Station are within a reasonable driving distance, allowing residents to access broader employment opportunities, educational institutions like Texas A&M University, and a wider array of retail and entertainment options. This balance of small-town living with regional connectivity can be a key advantage for those considering Cameron Mobile Home Community. However, the proximity to train tracks, as noted in a review, means potential noise should be considered when assessing the location's suitability.

- Waste Management: Standard trash collection services are usually provided to maintain cleanliness within the community.
- Community Oversight: A management structure is typically in place to oversee the park's operations, address resident concerns, and enforce community rules to ensure an orderly living environment.
- Common Area Provisions: Even in smaller parks, basic common areas are usually maintained. The mention of "lots of kids" implies communal spaces for play, although their upkeep might vary as per one review's concerns about mowing.

CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY Reviews
Awful. Have family on the street and it's slum! Owners do little to keep up, fence falling down, rarely mowed, and lots of illegals and crime. Renters pets up and down the streets lose. The pictures...lol. Never looks that good. I'd give it a zero if I could!
May 31, 2025 · Jeanie H.I wouldn't recommend this mobile home park. Trains run about every 15 minutes or so on certain days all day and into the night and the cross tracks are about 75 yards away so yeah.... Very LOUD. Enough to drive you insane. But if you are use to it then this is your dream area. The mobile home park is small with dirt roads. This is a good family area because there are alot of kids.
