Dating back to the 1940s, this park is not just another mobile home community; it's a living piece of California history. Originally established as one of over 100 mobile home parks specifically for grandmothers, Calif. Grandmothers Club Park is now one of only two such parks remaining. This heritage contributes to its unique charm and the close-knit atmosphere that residents often praise. It represents a different era of community planning, one focused on providing accessible and supportive living environments for a specific demographic. Today, while maintaining its historical essence, it continues to serve as a vital housing option, particularly for those seeking a more affordable path to homeownership or long-term rental in the beautiful Central Coast region.

Beyond practical accessibility, the park’s setting in Arroyo Grande offers a quality of life often sought after in California – a balance between serene residential living and access to recreational opportunities. - Affordable Living Options: A primary draw of Calif. Grandmothers Club Park is its reputation for providing very affordable living for those who meet the specific requirements. This is a crucial service in California's often-challenging housing market, offering a viable path to comfortable residency without the prohibitive costs associated with traditional homeownership or rentals.
- Community Management and Maintenance: Like most established mobile home parks, Calif. Grandmothers Club Park likely provides essential services related to the management and upkeep of common areas, infrastructure, and ensuring a pleasant living environment for all residents. This suggests a tradition of community events that promote social interaction and provide unique opportunities for residents and the broader local community to engage. Such events contribute significantly to the park's vibrant atmosphere.
Calif. Grandmothers Club Park stands out for several compelling features and highlights that contribute to its strong appeal among residents and the local community.

It's more than just a place to live; it's a living piece of California's social history.
- Affordability: A consistent theme in resident testimonials is the park's affordability for those who meet the requirements. In a state where housing costs can be exorbitant, this feature makes Calif. Calif. Grandmothers Club Park Reviews
It's only 1 of 2 left out of 100 mobile home parks started for Grandmother's in the 40's and it's a gem
Mar 29, 2022 · Jacob FrantzI have a mom that I made a grandmother and I have a grandmother that I made a great grandmother. One of them lives in this fantastic park. Very affordable for the people that meet the requirements. Don't sleep on their annual yard sales. Very cool stuff to be found. No hot rodding around the park, ok?
May 13, 2018 · Brian BearI would give this place zero stars if I was allowed to. They need to change the name of this place to the Prejudice Crotchety Old Bitties Place. The old bats that are in control of who lives there are still living in the 1960's. I am a Mexican grandmother who fits their supposed criteria of age 55 or older and a grandmother. I went to their so-called meeting and when I asked them a question I was told to wait until the meeting started to ask. But when a caucasion lady asked a question to them they were more than happy to answer her. If you are white you are more than welcome here, but any other race forget about even trying to live at this trailer trash park!
