Buffer Preserve RV Park is a relatively new addition to Florida's extensive network of RV accommodations, and it's quickly earning a reputation for its excellent facilities and serene environment. What sets Buffer Preserve RV Park apart is its strong connection to nature. As its name suggests, the park is nestled right next to a significant natural area, promising easy access to Florida's vibrant wildlife and stunning natural landscapes. For many RVers, the appeal of this lifestyle is the ability to connect with the outdoors, and this park delivers on that promise. It's an ideal spot for those who cherish peace, quiet, and the chance to explore hiking trails, observe local fauna, and simply breathe in the fresh air. This focus on tranquility and natural immersion makes Buffer Preserve RV Park a compelling choice for anyone looking to embrace the outdoor lifestyle in Florida.
The strategic location of Buffer Preserve RV Park is a significant advantage for those looking to explore the natural beauty of Florida's east coast. Situated at 11050 Co Rd 512, Fellsmere, FL 32948, USA, the park offers a unique blend of peaceful seclusion and convenient access to a variety of attractions.
Fellsmere itself is a charming town known for its rural character and proximity to vast natural areas. What makes this location particularly special is its direct adjacency to a nature park, providing residents with immediate access to hiking trails and opportunities for wildlife viewing. One of the closest and most significant natural attractions is the St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park, which offers over 60 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. This preserve is a haven for diverse flora and fauna, including over 70 protected species, making it a prime spot for bird watching and nature photography. The Manatee Overlook at the preserve is also a popular spot for wildlife enthusiasts.
Beyond the immediate natural surroundings, Buffer Preserve RV Park offers excellent accessibility to wider regional amenities. Despite its tranquil setting, the park is only a short drive to grocery stores and essential services, ensuring that daily needs are easily met. Nearby towns like Sebastian, known for its waterfront charm and local restaurants, and the famous Pelican Island, America's first national wildlife refuge, are just a short trip away. Furthermore, the park's proximity to Interstate 95 (I-95) makes it incredibly convenient for travelers, allowing for easy arrival and departure, as well as straightforward access to other Florida destinations like the Atlantic Ocean beaches, which are typically about 20 minutes away. While some reviews mention highway noise due to its proximity to I-95, the overall consensus points to the convenience and excellent access as a major benefit.
