Welcome to Airview Mobile Home Park, a mobile home community situated in Milan, Illinois. For individuals and families across the Illinois region, particularly those in the Quad Cities metropolitan area, mobile home parks can represent a compelling and often more affordable housing option compared to traditional homes or apartments. These communities offer a unique living experience, providing a sense of independence and neighborhood.
It's important for prospective residents to have a comprehensive and factual understanding of any community they are considering, and Airview Mobile Home Park is no exception. Reviews from current residents offer valuable insights into the day-to-day living experience. While some residents express a desire for a quieter escape from city life, it's clear that there are significant challenges reported regarding property conditions and park maintenance. For instance, concerns have been raised about issues within individual trailers and ongoing park conditions, such as "constantly mud everywhere" and issues with sewage smell. Some residents have also reported persistent problems with leaks and the need for continuous repairs on their homes. Understanding these experiences is crucial for anyone looking to make an informed decision about living at Airview Mobile Home Park.
Airview Mobile Home Park is located on Indian Bluff Rd, Milan, IL 61264, USA. This address places the community in Milan, a village in Rock Island County, Illinois. Milan is part of the larger Quad Cities metropolitan area, which includes Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, and Rock Island, Moline, and East Moline in Illinois. For residents across Illinois, this location offers a blend of semi-rural living with relatively close proximity to the amenities and employment opportunities of the Quad Cities.
The accessibility of Airview Mobile Home Park is generally considered car-dependent, as is common in many mobile home communities. Milan offers local conveniences, including grocery stores, gas stations, and some local businesses for daily needs. The proximity to the larger Quad Cities means residents have access to a broader range of shopping centers, diverse dining options, healthcare facilities, and entertainment venues. Major employers in the region, such as those in Moline and Rock Island, are typically within a reasonable driving distance. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the Quad Cities area boasts access to the Mississippi River, numerous parks, and recreational trails. While the park is located off Indian Bluff Road, which can offer a more secluded feel, potential residents should consider their transportation needs for accessing services and amenities throughout the wider Milan and Quad Cities area.
Based on available public information, mobile home parks generally provide basic services to their residents, primarily the rental of lots. Specific services offered by Airview Mobile Home Park typically include:
- Lot Rentals: Airview Mobile Home Park provides individual lots where residents can place their manufactured homes. According to a Zillow listing for a home in the park, lot rent for a particular unit included garbage, water, and sewer services. It is advisable to confirm these inclusions directly with park management.
- Utility Hookups: Residents can expect established connections for essential utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer. However, individual experiences with these services, particularly water quality and sewage, have been a concern for some residents, as noted in reviews.
- Community Management: There is a management entity overseeing the park operations, responsible for lease agreements, community rules, and addressing resident concerns. The Illinois Department of Public Health lists "Squaw Holdings, LLC - Erik Peterson" as the licensee for "AIRVIEW MHP" in Milan.
- Basic Infrastructure: Maintenance of internal roads within the park. However, resident reviews indicate ongoing issues with mud and potholes, which suggests that road conditions might be a challenge at times.
Airview Mobile Home Park, like any community, presents a mix of features and characteristics. Based on resident feedback, here are some points that highlight the living experience:
- Potential for Quiet Living (with caveats): Some residents may seek this community for its perceived removal from city noise. As one review states, the aim is to "get away from the city," suggesting a desire for a less hectic environment.
- Affordable Housing Potential: Mobile home parks generally offer a more cost-effective housing solution compared to traditional homes in the area, which can be a significant draw for those on a budget in Illinois.
- Family-Friendly Potential: The reviews don't explicitly mention family-specific amenities, but the general concept of mobile home living often appeals to families seeking more space and a yard than traditional apartments might offer.
- Direct Access to Utilities (though quality varies): As noted, lot rent for some units includes water, sewer, and garbage, which can simplify monthly budgeting. However, concerns about water quality and sewage smells have been raised.
- Older Homes May Have Issues: Residents have strongly advised against buying homes already in the park due to reported issues like persistent roof leaks and other general problems, suggesting that potential buyers should exercise extreme caution or consider bringing their own new homes.
Specific promotions or special offers for Airview Mobile Home Park are not readily available in public data. Mobile home parks typically do not advertise large-scale promotions in the same way retail businesses might. However, it is always advisable for prospective residents to contact the park management directly to inquire about any potential incentives. These could include:
- Introductory rates for new residents, such as a reduced lot rent for the first few months.
- Assistance with relocation costs for those looking to move an existing manufactured home into the park.
- Special pricing or financing options if the park has any homes for sale directly.
Given the strong cautionary notes from existing residents regarding the condition of trailers, potential buyers should be particularly diligent in their inquiries and inspections if considering purchasing a home already in the park. Direct communication with the park management (contact information provided below) is the best approach to gather the most current and accurate information regarding any offers or available lots.

For locals in Illinois considering Airview Mobile Home Park, it’s important to weigh its potential advantages against reported challenges. The primary appeal of mobile home parks for many is often the promise of affordable housing, and Airview Mobile Home Park, as a manufactured home community, can offer a path to a more economical living situation than traditional housing options in the Quad Cities area. Its location in Milan, slightly removed from the direct city bustle, may also appeal to those seeking a quieter environment and a break from urban density. The inclusion of certain utilities in the lot rent (water, sewer, garbage, as noted for one unit) could simplify monthly budgeting for some residents.
However, prospective residents should be fully aware of the significant concerns highlighted in existing reviews. Issues such as persistent mud, sewage smells, lack of running water in some units, and ongoing structural problems with existing trailers within the park are serious considerations. The strong advice from current residents to "NOT BUY ANY TRAILER IN THIS PLACE TRUST ME THEY ALL HAVE ISSUES" indicates that while the park might offer a location away from the city, the condition of the homes and potentially some infrastructure within the park could present ongoing challenges. For Illinois residents prioritizing affordability and a semi-rural setting, it is essential to conduct extremely thorough due diligence, including in-depth property inspections and direct communication with management about all concerns, before committing to living at Airview Mobile Home Park.

Airview Mobile Home Park Reviews
I just moved in here and hate it. Bought a trailer off pervious owners and there's more issues with the trailer than there is with the the rest of the park. Constantly mud everywhere and the sewage smells like it's backed up and I don't even have running water.i would NOT recommend living here unless you want to get away from the city but even then I still wouldn't recommend. Also I am continuously repairing the roof it never stops leaking. DON'T BUY ANY TRAILER IN THIS PLACE TRUST ME THEY ALL HAVE ISSUES.
