Yosemite Westlake Campground and RV Park Reviews
This was an acceptable stop for an exhausted crew. I tried making reservation online, couldn’t get it to go through. Called at 4:55pm and asked if they had any openings, super nice that they did! But explained I couldn’t book online. Lady told me to try again and then call back if I couldn’t. It would not go through still. Called back at 5pm when they close apparently, and had to leave a voicemail. No response. Also emailed them from their website, no response. So we just showed up and hoped for the best!!There was nobody to check in with. Signs said to self pay by bathrooms. We didn’t know where to go, and never did find a self pay area. No campground map. We just risked it, picked a spot and parked. A man did come out after a bit of us setting up. Greeted us nicely. Squared us away. We slept well! Very quiet camp.BEST part was he let us leave our trailer no charge for the day while we enjoyed Yosemite! That’s amazing. He should advertise that on his booking site. I bet a lot of people would be interested.Other than that, it was a camp area packed tight with tents and RVs. No space between anything, don’t expect any privacy. But seemed safe and quiet!
Jun 27, 2025 · Ally TaylorThis is an rv parking lot. I wouldn’t recommend, especially if you’re tent camping. Spaces are ridiculously close together, I was able to hear farts coming from the surrounding sites near us. Bathrooms were not kept clean or stocked and only 1 sink was functional. If you’re in a pinch to find a place to park overnight you’ll be ok here but I wouldn’t plan an entire trip around staying here. It was a real disappointment for us. You could have a similar experience camping down the street at the gas station.
May 30, 2025 · Scotrick DosatiIt was beautiful, and the area was more communal. They had restrooms, firepits and grills for each lot. The lights stayed on all night. The location was close to a library and large convenience store that was a mix between a market and a hardware store
Jun 13, 2025 · Jacob GeisickWe love staying here for the whole week, close to Yosemite park, Chanelling driving the roads, not very good WiFi, but great bathrooms, John was a great help when we first arrived, than got to meet Hank the owner, very nice gentleman, highly recommend the park,,,, it’s not a resort , but who needs one when camping, we came from Deep South Texas and if we come back, this will be our camp,,,,
Jun 29, 2025 · Roel GarciaI had reserved 6 days ($500+) through HipCamp and cancelled a month before my stay and was only refunded 50% minus HipCamp fees. They have a super strict cancellation policy. It's upsetting that I lost over $200 because I had a change in plans. Really think it through if this is the right place for you.
