Woodside Lake Park Reviews
We stayed at this beautiful campground about 15 to 20 minutes from Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The staff were amazing and everything was well run. The lake was awesome, the kids had a blast on all of the equipment and activities that were out on the lake. The lifeguard was attentive. They had a huge game room for the kids. Snacks, a little camp store and activities. The showers were warm. The bathrooms were a little bit dirty, but I think that’s because there were so many day users for the lake. There were a lot of regular residents there and let me tell you they were committed with their campsite! Some had decks, bars, outdoor seating, but it was cool to see how much they cared for and loved their campsite.
Jun 19, 2025 · Becky HaasWe rented the Pavilion for a party. The staff was excellent and accommodating! They took care of trash throughout the day and during the party. The area was clean and neat with lots of picnic tables. Swimming was available (which the kids loved and allowed parents/ adults to sit back and relax) It was perfect. I plan on coming back.
Jun 12, 2025 · Kathleen LongIf you want a park that feels like its set up mainly for large RVs and semi permanent campers, this may be better than a 3 star for you (especially if you have grand kids). We were checked in and escorted to our site by a golf cart which was nice. The main entrance isn't a great layout and there's an rfid card reader with a gate that seems a bit pointless. The site was largely level and did have hook ups as described. Privacy is non existent and the nature has been thinned heavily to accommodate a large quantity of campers. Our site was conveniently close to a bathroom without a shower. I wish they used auto flushing toilets as one of the residents doesn't understand flushing. My largest complaint is the main bathroom. The mens was not clean, and had a bit of an odd odor. The sinks did not have any soap available. The showers were probably the worst showers I've seen at a campsite. Over all the park may be good for you. It just wasn't for us.
Jun 10, 2025 · Derek HThis was our first stay at Woodside Lake Park. The staff was very helpful escorting us to our site and even assisting us while we backed in our unit. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this park to others. While we didn’t have any issues with our stay there are a couple of things to mention for improvements. I do not agree with an extra 25$ fee to hold a campsite I pick from your website. Does this mean you might have given the site I selected away. Also, The sites in the Deer run area are lower than the road grade and get soggy following a rain. Some drainage improvements would really help out weekend and permanents sharing this area. Otherwise the park is generally kept up. Lawn areas were mowed. It looks like there have been on going improvements throughout the park.
May 28, 2025 · Donald nowakThis is absolutely the best RV park I've been to in 10 yrs of travel nursing! The staff here are amazing! They parked the camper, leveled it, and secured all the hookups. You do not get this kind of service anywhere else! ❤️
