Welcome to Weber Lake Campground, a truly special destination nestled in the breathtaking natural beauty of Northern Wisconsin. For residents and visitors alike who appreciate the tranquility of the outdoors, this campground offers an idyllic escape. Known for its serene waters and picturesque surroundings, Weber Lake Campground is more than just a place to set up camp; it's a gateway to relaxation, outdoor adventure, and unforgettable moments amidst the lush Wisconsin landscape. Our aim with this detailed overview is to provide you with all the essential information needed to plan your perfect getaway to this remarkable local gem.
Wisconsin is celebrated for its abundant lakes and verdant forests, and Weber Lake Campground perfectly embodies this charm. It's a place where the sounds of nature prevail, offering a peaceful retreat from the daily hustle and bustle. The campground is designed to cater to various outdoor activities, making it an excellent choice for anglers, nature walkers, and those simply looking to unwind by the water.
One of the most appealing aspects of Weber Lake is its status as a "no-wake lake." This designation ensures that the waters remain calm and undisturbed, creating an exceptionally peaceful environment for everyone. Whether you're casting a line, paddling a kayak, or simply enjoying the view from the shore, the lack of large wakes contributes significantly to the tranquil ambiance. This feature is particularly appreciated by those who seek a quiet fishing experience or a safe, calm area for swimming.
Speaking of fishing, Weber Lake is renowned for its excellent opportunities to catch bass and trout. Anglers frequently praise the lake as being "full of bass and trout," making it a prime destination for both seasoned fishermen and those new to the sport. The campground offers several piers, providing convenient access points for fishing directly from the shore. For those with boats, the nearby availability of boat access makes it easy to explore the lake's deeper waters and find prime fishing spots. This focus on fishing highlights the campground's appeal to a specific segment of outdoor enthusiasts, ensuring a fulfilling experience for them.
Beyond the water activities, Weber Lake Campground also offers opportunities for leisurely strolls. A "nice sidewalk next to the lake" provides a pleasant path for taking walks, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and its "beautifully wooded" surroundings at a relaxed pace. This feature adds another dimension to the camping experience, encouraging exploration and appreciation of the natural environment beyond just the immediate campsite.
For golf enthusiasts, the proximity to Whitecap Skye Golf Course is a significant advantage. Located right next to the campground, it offers a convenient option for those who wish to combine their camping trip with a round of golf. This adds a layer of versatility to the campground's offerings, appealing to a broader range of interests and making it a comprehensive destination for outdoor recreation in Northern Wisconsin.
The facilities at Weber Lake Campground are generally well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. The bathrooms are noted for being "well kept" and designed as "one-person" units, which can offer a greater sense of privacy and cleanliness compared to communal facilities. While some specific details regarding site types and shower policies might require clarification upon booking, the overall impression is one of a beautiful and comfortable campsite that prioritizes the natural beauty of its location.

Gorgeous and comfortable campsite.Beautiful lake full of bass and trout.Several piers for fishing and boats nearby.A no wake lake so calm and beautifully wooded.A nice sidewalk next to the lake for taking walks and located right next to Whitecap Skye Golf Course.
Oct 02, 2017 · Nicole WittkoppBeautiful lake and surrounding area. Bathrooms are well kept and are one-person. Seems like it would make for great fishing, or a beach day. However, for tent camping, it didn't quite work. All electric sites are gravel compacted to the point there's no way a stake is going in. The only non-gravel sites are small lakeside lots with no electric and little cover/privacy. My biggest beef, though are the showers. Though large and clean, not only are they coin showers (which was not shown on any of the info I looked at for the grounds), they are expensive ($0.50 for 3 minutes) AND they are push showers lasting about 10 seconds a push. To have them be both is ridiculous, period, in my opinion, but definitely for how much the sites cost.My last issue is that there was no camp host the entire time I was there. Which wouldn't be an issue, except their offices are closed Fri-Sun, which left no one to talk to about my site issue or changing my reservation to leave early. I didn't hear back until the same morning I had to leave.
Sep 19, 2022 · Sarah JansenCoin operated showers. Small campground, just fine for a nights stay. Site 5 is a walking only.
Jun 29, 2025 · Sharon EricksonNice slow no wake lake. New and clean bathroom with showers. Several hiking trails. No beach, but great lake access. Boat launch is paved with a pier. Lost 1.5 stars for advertising ATV access to trail 6, nothing in the rules about restricting atv’s and nothing on the campground map about restricting atv’s, yet roughly half the sites have no ATV signs at the posts. Lost another star because the gravel is really loose to the point I couldn’t get my camper level and grassy areas were excessively soft/muddy. Lost the last 0.5 star because you need to press a button in the shower every 3 seconds to keep the water on.
May 31, 2022 · Jake JagminIt is a shame that there isn't greater effort to preserve upkeep at this jewel of a lake. Lots of broken down picnic tables and rusted out grates, but still a wonderful experience. it might have been more challenging to find a good site if there had been more people. As it was, my family had a wonderful time.
