Oct 28, 2021 · KatI spent four months there this summer and it was the best ever. Don’t listen to the chatter about the owner. He is an awesome guy and he will help you any way he can .Great location. Great views .I saw every animal possible this summer. What a great relaxing experience .The lake is awesome, the people were great if it wasn’t so cold, I’d still be there.
Nov 15, 2022 · Michael HawfA wonderful campsite! Stayed here with my friend. The lake is hauntingly beautiful, and we were able to camp right next to it. Seriously, the most unbelievably wonderful campsites I've ever camped out. Most memorably, the dusk brings the mournful calls of loons, crying out over an empty, serene lake. The campsite manager is a fantastic, friendly man, with the perfect camping experience of being friendly and present and then disappearing and leaving us alone when desired. The facilities are fantastic, to boot, with a well constructed bathroom facility. We had so much fun that, on our way back, we left early from Acadia so we could have more time at Wanderin' Moose. I'm definitely going to try to come back here in the future.
