My grandmother bought a new camper and parked it here. We regularly go out on the family boat, but hadn't launched off of this dock before. It's officially our new launch spot. I love that there's so much shade, and I really love the little shop/restaurant that is on site. My mother and stepdad stopped in and didn't realize that they had closed 5 minutes prior. The restaurant definitely didn't have to serve them, but they offered to take their order if they didn't mind to sit outside since the dining room was being cleaned. My mom was so grateful for that. They had been helping my grandma get settled in her camper and were starving. We visited again the next day and the service was just incredible, and the food was great. My husband is obsessed with their burgers now. We'll be making the drive just to eat in the restaurant.Aside from that, the views are amazing. And the fishing in the area is pretty good. We caught a lot of brim and perch, a few bass, and a lot of catfish. - Candis Ellis
