Twin Lakes State Forest Campground

5627 Smith Rd, Cheboygan, MI 49721, USA

4.0
Nice quiet campground with only 11 sites. Most of the sites are wooded and good-sized for tents or small trailers. No waterfront sites. Pit toilets were well maintained. The boat launch is a 'carry-in' launch and requires you to carry your boat down a set of 10-15 stairs to get to the water. Lake is calm and protected, perfect for kayaking and canoeing. Plenty of fish to catch. Lots of loons call this lake home, it was nice to wake up to their song each morning. - Alyssa Battle
