Situated at 3300 Shore Drive, Cumming, GA, this family-owned and operated park has been welcoming guests since 1976, establishing itself as a consistent choice for many travelers and those seeking an extended stay.
While it may not boast elaborate resort-style features, Twin Lakes RV Park prides itself on offering a functional and generally quiet environment. It's particularly well-suited for those who prioritize full hookups, a pet-friendly atmosphere, and direct access to tranquil private lakes for leisurely walks and catch-and-release fishing. For Georgians needing a reliable base for their RV in the Lake Lanier vicinity, whether for a few nights or a longer duration, Twin Lakes RV Park presents a no-frills, practical solution designed for comfort and convenience on the road.

For Georgians traveling with their RVs, the park's accessibility is a key advantage. Its proximity to Lake Lanier means that while the park itself offers private lakes, the larger recreational opportunities of Lake Lanier are also within easy reach for those with appropriate vehicles and plans. Directions to the park are straightforward, leading directly to the property off Shore Drive. While some visitors note that some interior roads might be gravel, the overall access is designed to accommodate RVs of various sizes, up to 60 feet in length. This provides a tranquil natural setting for relaxation and exercise, particularly popular with dog owners.
Pet-Friendly Environment: Twin Lakes RV Park is highly accommodating to pets, with designated walking areas and waste stations. This makes it an ideal choice for Georgians who travel with their dogs and appreciate a welcoming environment for their furry companions.

Quiet and Peaceful Atmosphere: Many visitors describe the park as quiet and peaceful, particularly at night, making it suitable for those seeking a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle. While some early morning noise from residents leaving for work is noted, overall tranquility is a common theme.
Convenient Location: Its proximity to Cumming's amenities (shopping, restaurants) and major roadways like GA-400 makes it a practical and accessible choice for both short and extended stays.
Family-Owned and Operated: Being a family-owned business since 1976 often translates to a more personal touch and a long-standing commitment to the park, as mentioned in some descriptions.
Year-Round Operation: The park is open all year, providing a consistent option for RVers no matter the season.
Value for Extended Stays: While some overnight rates are noted as potentially higher for what's offered (due to lack of bathhouse), the park appears to be a stronger value for weekly or monthly rates, appealing to those seeking longer-term parking.

Twin Lakes Rv Park Reviews
The lake is great to walk your dog around, more like a small hiking trail. Great place to get some walking in with the pup. No bathhouse. If staying for a few nights they put down by the lake but that means tight quarters and unlevel ground. Looks more like a parking lot with electric and water hookups. Also you don’t know where your site ends and the person next to you’s site begins.

Apr 03, 2025 · Jim IWell when you pull in you can see a nice and beautiful layout of the place.. Your attention is drawn to the lake and a fountain displayed in the middle.. But what really caught my eyes was the calm I felt from seeing the place.. You can tell it's a good and a safe place to relax with friends and family, or just all alone catching some sun, or just sitting back taking it all in will definitely help ease your stress.. It's got all of your things you need when it comes to camping and setting up your RV . IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO PUT YOUR RV FOR A SHORT TIME OR LONG TIME.. COME CHECK IT OUT BC YOU WILL LOVE IT .100% RECOMMEND

Jun 22, 2025 · Nirali NirmalThe camping spot was not level at all. I could only compensate so much with scissor jacks. The host was very nice, and so were the grounds. No bathhouse, which is a detriment. The construction in the area made traffic terrible. The lakes were beautiful, and I enjoyed walking my dog around.

Jan 24, 2025 · Adam HummelDrove by basically to check it out for possible quite quick get away from the house.Really comes across as more of a mobile home park for RVs. Mostly just a gravel lot, little to no shade, no bath house, no laundry. The Best areas look like permanent residents.Kept up nicely and clean. But not what I was hoping for.
