Twin Corners RV Park, located just outside the charming town of Stonewall, Louisiana, offers a straightforward, quiet, and budget-friendly solution for RVers. It’s not about flashy amenities here; it’s about providing solid, essential services in a peaceful setting, with the added benefit of being close enough to the vibrant city of Shreveport for all your shopping and recreational needs. For those who prioritize affordability, a calm atmosphere, and hassle-free living, Twin Corners RV Park might just be your next favorite spot in DeSoto Parish.
Twin Corners RV Park is conveniently located at 444 Hall Rd, Stonewall, LA 71078, USA. This places it in a prime position for both local residents and those passing through North Louisiana. Stonewall is a small, welcoming community in DeSoto Parish, offering a peaceful rural atmosphere, yet it’s strategically close to larger urban centers.
The accessibility of Twin Corners RV Park is a significant advantage. It is situated "right outside Stonewall" and offers easy access to major routes, making it simple to navigate even with larger RVs. For those coming from Shreveport, it's a relatively short and direct drive. This proximity to Shreveport means campers have quick access to a wide array of city amenities, including shopping centers, grocery stores, hospitals, entertainment venues, and restaurants, without being immersed in the urban hustle and bustle. The park itself is isolated enough from major noise and light pollution, allowing for quiet evenings and clear views of the stars, a true luxury for many. The direct road access to the park ensures a smooth arrival, making it suitable for all types of RVs.
Twin Corners RV Park focuses on providing essential services for RVers, prioritizing convenience and affordability for both short and long-term stays.
Full Hookup RV Sites: All lots come equipped with water, electric (30/50 amp), and sewer hook-ups. This is a crucial amenity for RVers, allowing for a comfortable and self-contained stay without needing to frequently move to dump tanks or refill water.
Utilities Included (Long-Term): A major highlight, particularly for extended stays, is that the monthly rate of around $350 (as per customer reviews, though official rates may vary) includes all utilities: lot, electric, water, and sewer. This provides excellent value and simplifies budgeting for long-term residents.
Wi-Fi Internet: The park advertises Wi-Fi internet access. However, it's important to note based on reviews that while a signal is present, the speed may be extremely slow, with one user describing it as "slower than dial up." For reliable internet access, particularly for work or streaming, campers should plan to use their own mobile hotspot or cellular data.
No Bathhouse/Showers: The park does not feature a communal bathhouse with showers. As one reviewer noted, this is "no problem" for those who prefer to use their RV's own bathroom facilities. This aligns with its "no frills" approach.
No Laundry Mat On-Site: There is no laundry facility directly at the RV park. However, laundromats are conveniently located "a few miles away" in nearby Stonewall or Shreveport.
Regular Mowing: The owners or management mow around the campers approximately "once a week," contributing to the park's neat appearance.
Trash Services: While not explicitly detailed, given the inclusion of utilities in long-term rates, trash disposal services are typically provided.
Pet-Friendly: While not explicitly stated in the provided reviews, most RV parks in Louisiana are pet-friendly, typically requiring pets to be leashed.
Payment: Rates are generally handled via cash or check, with no debit or credit card acceptance.
Twin Corners RV Park may be described as "no frills," but it offers several compelling features and highlights that make it a highly desirable option for its target audience – particularly locals seeking a long-term, peaceful, and affordable RV living solution.
Quiet and Peaceful Atmosphere: Consistently praised as a "quiet campground," Twin Corners RV Park provides a serene environment. Its location, isolated from city noise and light pollution, allows residents to "sit out at night and enjoy the stars and frogs," creating a truly relaxing experience.
Excellent Value for Money: The monthly rate of $350 (as per past reviews), inclusive of electric, water, and sewer, is highlighted as being "well worth your money" and is considered a "great" deal by residents. This makes it a highly attractive option for budget-conscious RVers.
Friendly and Easy-going Management: The owners are frequently described as "very nice," "easy going," "kind and helpful," and "welcoming." This positive relationship with management contributes significantly to a pleasant living experience, fostering a relaxed atmosphere.
Convenient Location to Shreveport: Despite its quiet, rural setting, the park is "close enough to Shreveport for shopping and recreational needs, but far enough away to not have to deal with the city problems." This offers the best of both worlds for residents. Local attractions nearby include the Red River National Wildlife Refuge and various historic sites in Shreveport.
Ideal for Long-Term Stays: The park is highly recommended for "short & long term stays," with one resident stating they had been there for "6 or more months" and planned to "stay for a good while more." The inclusive monthly rate makes it particularly well-suited for extended residency.
Friendly, Respectful Community: Residents are described as "friendly, but mind their own business," fostering a respectful and peaceful community environment. The absence of reported "theft or other crime" further enhances the sense of security.
Level Lots: While not explicitly stated in provided reviews, an "ok" and "no frills" park typically means relatively level, gravel, or dirt lots that are easy to set up on.
Fire Ant Mitigation: While one past resident had an issue with fire ants, they successfully managed it with "serious fire ant poison," indicating that with proactive measures, this common Louisiana pest can be controlled on individual lots.

Twin Corners RV Park Reviews
It's a quiet campground. Well worth your money. $350 a month includes lot, electric, water and sewer. No laundry mat but there's one a few miles away. No bathhouse doesn't bother us we love using our own bathroom. The owners are very nice. I recommend this campground for short & long term stays.
Sep 05, 2019 · Mel TilIt is an ok no frills RV park. $350/month. All utilities paid which is great. The owners/management is easy going which is cool and it is quiet for the most part. They mow about once a week around the campers. My lot was overrun by fire ants. I finally got fed up of getting bitten in my own bed multiple times a night and went out and bought some serious fire ant poison and went scorched earth on every colony on my and the adjacent lots. They are no longer an issue. There are no laundry facilities but it is close enough to Shreveport to just go to a laundromat there. They do have wifi internet.... sort of..... there is a wifi signal you can get on, but it is slower than dial up. I'm not kidding. You may as well not even bother. It takes like 20 minutes of logging off and logging back on again and again and again to even check a simple text email. If you want to use the internet get your own. Would be nice if they'd seriously upgrade their internet service, but I won't hold my breath there. I've been here for some time, 6 or more months, and I will likely stay for a good while more. Over all it is a good RV park and very nicely situated right outside Stonewall, close enough to Shreveport for shopping and recreational needs, but far enough away to not have to deal with the city problems. Stonewall is a nice little town and the park is isolated from noise and light pollution, so it is quite nice to sit out at night and enjoy the stars and frogs (once I'd massacred the fire ants that is) The residents are friendly, but mind their own business and so far as I know there is no theft or other crime.
Sep 14, 2018 · Jason FreestoneMy family just started staying at this campground and it is quite and the people are friendly. The sites have good room and we dont feel cramped at all. I definitely recommend staying at this wonderful cozy campground.
Jul 02, 2019 · DuckiemotoTo answer the review above. This park does not have a maintenance service for privately owned RV's. We do not endorse any of the companies that work on RV's. We can only refer. We were given a forwarding address for him and at our expense we forwarded all of his mail to the address provided by him. We have no control over the U.S. Postal Service. When he was in jail, we purchased food for his pets and fed them, not to mention management working on his broken automobiles.
