Turkey Meadow Campground Reviews
Campsites are walk-in, which is nice to feel a bit more secluded. Some sites right on the ridge have no shade, so beware. Sites with shade still don't have much foliage between sites, so not private. Firewood sales via ATV comes thru every afternoon, which is a nice benefit.
Jul 18, 2020 · AlenaMueller State Park is awesome. It can be hard to get a spot on a weekend so went on a weekday. It is beautiful. All the spots for campers and travel trailers seem to be pull through, which is nice for those who can not back up easily. Dogs must be on a leash or fenced at all times. We were there during a stage 2 fire ban. I understand it is now stage 3 and highly enforced. It would be horrible to loose this forest; I hope everyone adheres.
Jul 13, 2018 · Kelly WoodOutstanding setting, peaceful and quiet. Magnificent views! The 3 sites we reserved were walk-out tent sites, about 200 yards away from parking. Having a cart to haul our gear was a lifesaver! Park is spectacular, with beautifully maintained campground, trails, and facility. The staff is superior! Will definitely camp here again. Reservations highly recommended.
