We absolutely LOVED this campground! We have 4 kids and it did not disappoint at all! Even with the pool not open yet for the season, we were never bored. The kids loved the bounce pad, the playground and the like we could walk to! They have these really fun peddle carts you can rent. The kids LOVED them. May 19, 2025 · Kali SawtelleThis KOA takes time and work to get to but once you're here WOW!! nice size sites and walking distance to the lake. And the lake makes this place 110% worth the effort to get here. Located in a National Forest so it's super dog friendly and my 2 didn't want to leave the lake. Staff is also super friendly and very helpful with directions.
Jul 01, 2025 · Martha SchlegelAbsolutely Amazing Experience! We had an unforgettable stay at Trinity KOA! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The campground was spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of thoughtful touches that made our trip extra special. Our site was spacious, level, and perfectly shaded — ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The amenities were outstanding: clean restrooms and showers, a well-stocked camp store, fun activities for the kids, and even a sparkling pool to cool off in. We also loved how peaceful and quiet it was at night — perfect for stargazing by the campfire. It’s clear that Chet and his team take pride in creating an incredible experience for their guests. We can’t wait to come back and are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free camping adventure!
Apr 27, 2025 · Tera CunninghamVery nice campground, shaded/wooded lots (none on lake or with view of lake) with all the amenities. We only stayed one night while traveling through (30 miles in and out from Weaverville). We did use laundry facility that had four washers and dryers (one dryer didn’t work). Laundry room floor is in need of cleaning/pressure washing and walls/windows in need of scrubbing but still appreciated there was a facility. Overall campground seemed like a great one and a destination more so. Our fridge had blown a fuse and we needed diesel so we were very pleased both were available at camp store as well as firewood and propane. Additionally, the site we were assigned was not feasible to back into with our rig due to proximity of trees so we were kindly allowed to move over one site.
Jun 29, 2025 · Brandi ScreenThis campground was extremely clean and the sites were very big and spaced out. The kids loved the craft cabin where they had every option of crafts you could think of. Walkable to the lake. A lot to do for kids here.
