Thousand Trails Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch Reviews
My children and I just spent a few days at this lovely resort. I have absolutely no complaints at all 👍🏻 the pool and sauna was clean , our cabin provided more than what the website says ( linens, soaps, etc). We enjoyed horseback riding and having fun playing air hockey . The staff is very friendly as well 🙂 We had an absolute blast and we will definitely be back! Thanks for the great memories 🥰
Jun 12, 2025 · Jen DoeLove love love Thousand TrailsWe stayed last year around the 4th of July. They had a bike parade for the kids, a scavenger hunt, doughnuts and craft show. All around a super cool camp ground. The pools were awesome. We enjoyed the "rustic cabins". No linens in those but had practically every single thing you could think of. The kids loved fishing off the dock and being able to ride their bikes around the grounds. The playground and rec room were awesome. The laundromat and showers on site was always clean and well kept. Laundry wasn't expensive either. All in all a great place to take your family for a little get away. Get some groceries in town and head up the mountain because it's an awesome campground. The lake, Blue Mesa, is also not far either, right across the road a little.
Jul 02, 2025 · Brittney PulliamThe check in staff and attention to detail were amazing! The pool and communal activities closed early (before dark) which is hard with teens. BUT we could off road directly out of the park and access to the lake was less than 5 min drive. Town is 15 min away - fly fishing, mtb, food. Crested Butte and Black Canyon were great day trips from this location. Not all sites had fire pits so keep an eye out when choosing a site if smores are your thing!
Jun 20, 2025 · Kyle FlahertyWe stayed here for two weeks in June 2025. We were more than pleased at everything they had to offer but especially the location. It’s not possible to be bored in the areas there are so many places to visit. We found nothing to criticize about the park whatsoever.
Jun 19, 2025 · DaveWe were in the wilderness campground area for Rv. It was very nicely shaded and by a running stream. The area was clean and not overgrown with plants. The bath facilities were clean but a little bit farther than most places we have been.
