★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I rented one of there cabins. The air conditioner was old and couldnt keep up in the room. Wasps and hornets roamed the room...i reserved it a few days agead of time. Paid the money and then upone arrival they asked for 100.00 deposit for the cabin. I dropped off stuff and left for 2 hours came back and immediately checked out. The managers answer was youll get your deposit back ahortly...it at this time has been 6 days....stay away from this place. Its a minimum failing tourist trap.
July 22 · JP AUTO PAINT WORKSThe RV park is very large and spacious. We had a view of Lake and it was very nice in the morning and evening. The RV spots were very large and alot of room. We saw a deer, rabbits and alot of red cardinals in the trees. We had a great experience!
June 05 · Terry HillThis rv park is very nice if you stay on the sewer side. Right next to the lake and large sites. The non sewer side seems crowded like many other sites. The park is huge with lots of open spaces. It is quiet and we enjoyed our stay. One of the better parks in Texas. Wish there was some activities done by the park. There is no washing if rv or vehicles. With the proximity to the lake and all the recent rain the pests of mosquitoes was abundant. We would come back for sure!
May 11 · Telemnar IlúvatarPros-Big rig friendly-50amp FHU site (there are only a handful of FHU sites, most are electric and water only)-Quiet, sprawling campground- Staff were friendly-Playground, basketball court, fishing pond, lodge, clubhouse, all were decent shape.- hot tub was nice, pool was open but not heated.- lots of wildlife: deer, geese, and birds-close to town for groceries.- roads were fine. I read they were recently fixed.Cons- There are not a lot of great options for showers. If we didn’t have hookups, that would have been a huge issue for us.- Incredible amount of animal poop everywhere. The campground can’t do anything about it but I think it’s worth noting.- the geese are pretty territorial so we were charged a few times from them while going for our walk.We definitely would stay again for a quiet week or so.
January 31 · Emily OrserThe park is huge but it's in the middle of nowhere. Lake access, nice pool and basketball court, hundreds of deer walking about but not all sites have sewer and they charge for Honey wagon visits. Bath house not very clean and has a lot of bugs, water pressure about 40psi.
