Table Rock State Park - White Oaks Campground

Pickens, SC 29671, USA

4.0
While Table Rock State Park, where this campground is located was a pleasure to visit with a large central parking lot that led to all the major trailheads, the campground was a different story. The sites were some of the smallest we have ever seen, often poorly out of level and in many areas water run-off had trenched the sites. This made parking and leveling an RV or travel trailer a major headache. The campground map in no way indicated the proper orientation or extreme smallness of the sites. None of the sites had sewer hookups.Campground road and paths are mostly gravel and poorly maintained. The complete lack of privacy with campsites on top of one another made us forgo our 3 day stay and leave after 1 night. I gave it 2 stars because the one staff member we interacted with was friendly. But tbh, we have never stayed in a more haphazard looking campground. Even our stays at numerous commercial campgrounds were far more spacious and certainly better maintained. - Linda O
