Sunset Campground - Lake of the Woods

Dead Indian Memorial Rd, Klamath Falls, OR 97601, USA

4.0
It’s probably in terms of setup a four star. Reason I give it only 3 is because I was a bit disappointed by the lakeside area. The sites are away from it - most of them are and the forest is dense here. No visibility of lake or mt.McLoughlin unless you walk straight to the lake shore literally. In loop A at least also no dedicated trail or area so you have to pass the couple is sites that are there which is awkward. Due to the dense forest it’s dark early and probably colder then it would be otherwise. I love forest and trees, but this is sort of deep in the woods. - Tobias P.
