Sundance Farm Campground is designed to provide essential and comfortable amenities for campers, ensuring a pleasant stay. Their focus on cleanliness and practical facilities is highly valued by guests:
- RV Hookup Sites: The campground offers a total of 48 sites, including 21 new full hookup sites (available since May 15, 2025). Most other sites provide electric and water access, catering to various RV sizes and needs (15A/30A/50A availability at some sites). Sites are on leveled and compacted gravel pads or grass, and typically include a picnic table and fire ring.
- Tent Camping Sites: A limited number of sites are available for traditional tent campers, ensuring options for all outdoor enthusiasts. Tent sites typically come with a picnic table, firepit, and water spigot.
- Clean Restroom and Shower Facilities: The campground boasts two well-maintained bathroom and shower facilities, consistently praised by visitors for their cleanliness. One bathhouse has separate men's and women's sides, while another features private bathrooms.
- Laundry Room: A laundry room is available for guest use, providing convenience for longer stays.
- Dump Stations: Two convenient dump stations are provided for RV travelers, simplifying waste disposal.
- Firewood and Ice Sales: Firewood and ice are available for purchase on-site, ensuring campers have immediate access to these essentials.
- WiFi Access: WiFi is accessible at most locations throughout the campground, allowing guests to stay connected.
- Onsite Holding Tank Emptying (Honey-wagon service): This convenient service is available for a fee, and is even included twice a week for stays of a week or longer, reducing the need for campers to move their RVs for waste disposal.
The campground aims to accommodate both short-term visitors and those seeking a longer-term stay, with their focus on full hookups and well-maintained facilities being a key aspect of their service.

- Very Clean and Well-Kept: This is a consistent highlight from visitor reviews. The dedication to maintaining spotless restrooms, showers, and overall campground cleanliness significantly enhances the guest experience.
- Beautiful and Hilly Location: The natural beauty of the "hilly and beautiful" terrain provides a picturesque and serene backdrop for camping. This natural setting, encouraging the growth of natural forest flora while keeping campsites clear, adds to the peaceful atmosphere.
- Spacious Campsites: Guests appreciate the "spacious parking spots" and the reduction in the number of campsites over time to accommodate larger RVs, often leaving enough room for an extra tent or car.
- Quiet Campground: Despite its unique status as an Eventing venue, the campground maintains a "nice, quiet" atmosphere, making it ideal for those seeking relaxation and peace.
- Unique USEA Eventing Venue: The dual nature of the property as an active equestrian Eventing venue is a major draw. Guests can enjoy watching horses on the cross-country course, adding an exciting and unique dimension to their camping trip. The farm specializes in Hunt Seat, Jumping, Dressage, and Combined Training.
- Excellent Owner Communication: "Steve is very good with communication and directions," indicating that the owners are highly responsive and helpful, contributing to a smooth and pleasant booking and check-in process.
- Proximity to Road America: Being just 2 miles from the famous Road America racetrack makes it a prime location for race fans who want to camp nearby.

Sundance Farm Campground Reviews
A very clean, well kept, campground/USEA Eventing venue. Always fun when the horses are on course! Owners are lovely; the location is hilly and beautiful!
Jul 05, 2025 · Amy RombergNice, quiet campground with beautifull views and spacious parking spots. Clean restrooms and showers. Easy to get to. Steve is very good with communication and directions. Thank you!
Jun 27, 2025 · Arturas StonysWhat an amazing place. I detest camping, but had to stay here out of necessity. I would happily return. It’s so quiet you don’t even know there are other campers around. It’s just picturesque with the rolling hills and horses. A very short drive to Elkhart Lake and even shorter drive to downtown Plymouth. There are really cute little charming towns all around this area, if that’s your thing. The grounds are very well-maintained and each area has its own fire pit and picnic bench. This non-camper will be back.
May 12, 2024 · Tonya “T-Square” UmbleWe haven’t even stayed a night and we like it! Steve had great communication! The area is clean, like really clean, and very welcoming. The spots are well spaced out and have a great view.
Oct 05, 2024 · Celeste HaveyHi, I can’t rate this place because I didn’t stay here. What I can say is that we tried several times several months ago to place a reservation and we never heard back after one email from the owner. We had dates etc. set aside. We’ve seen this happen with other locations and just decided to move along and book where we know we could get a site without emailing back-and-forth. Not sure what that was all about. Not sure what happened, but that was our experience. We stayed in two other areas, but have not tried again at this location. It sounds like a nice place maybe we don’t qualify?Camping now nearby and have been all summer.
