Steamboat Springs KOA Holiday Reviews
This was our second time staying at the Steamboat Springs KOA, and once again, it did not disappoint! Everything was just as we remembered—clean, well-maintained, and run by a friendly, attentive staff that really cares about the guest experience. One of our favorite things to do after long days on the bikes was to just lay and relax in the river—it’s the perfect way to recharge. We also loved the convenience of the gas grill setup for easy meals and had a great time winding down with a few rounds on the putt putt course. It’s such a peaceful, comfortable spot with all the little touches that make a stay feel special. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend if you’re in the Steamboat area!
Jun 30, 2025 · nathan tamayoExcellent place to stay for a long time, a little expensive for our university budget but Laurie is always considerate and willing to help with anything needed, which is totally worth it. We stayed the entire winter season the last few years on the L101 and excellent service. The location is excellent, the bus stops right outside, so it's very easy to get to downtown or the resort.
Jun 10, 2025 · Jo PandoWe highly recommend this place as one of our favorite KOA's. The camp host were very kind & knowledgeable. We stayed in a small cabin with a river view, site 2 or 1 is our favorite. We floated down the river on our own tubes, visited the Strawberry Hot Springs & the main town is just a short 5 min drive. There is also a free shuttle that will take you into town every 20 min.
Jul 05, 2025 · bobbie hopkinsThe place is in a great location, just barely out of downtown. The river going through camp is nice, love that background noise of the water. Staff is super friendly and they are always working hard to make sure the place is clean and nice, some of the best I have seen. The camp was full but did not seem crowded, good times at the pool, mini golf. There is also a few large grassy areas. They even had a free outdoor movie night with popcorn. Had a couple low cost activities as well. Great place to stay. Good job guys!
