South Fork Salmon River Campground Reviews
Cute camp ground. Quiet, good-sized camp grounds, and most sites have access to the water. They have pit stops (porta potties) that are clean and have toilet paper. Will be back.
Jun 04, 2025 · Amber BarnesThe campgrounds were very nice. There was a lot of space in between other sites. Two bathrooms and running water plus the river . Just an awesome location. Will definitely come again.
Sep 24, 2020 · ZachWent camping for two night. Access is easy with a paved road all the way to camp. The number of camping spots is relatively limited, however they are well positioned and not too close together. Proximity to the river is the best part of this campground, with some spots shallow enough to sit in a camp chair and relax. 4/5 due the noise related to the nearby highway. Overall, a really nice camping spot.
Aug 19, 2019 · N AWe drove through this small campground and were surprised they had some large sights. It's a pack-it-in, pack-it-out campground. There was water and vault toilets. There was a large fifth wheel in a sight and we saw 2 or 3 additional sites that would fit a 30 ft. RV.We will give this a try some time next year as it is right next to the south fork of the Salmon River.
